I travel all over the country searching for a Mexican spot that truly reminds me of home — and this place absolutely has my full attention. I ordered the steak torta, and it was perfect. Most places either undercook or overcook the meat, or the bread ends up too hard. Not here. Everything was cooked just right, and the flavors were on point. I’ll definitely be coming back for lunch as often as I can. 10/10.

I happened upon this place today, and it was DELICIOUS! Guacamole was amazing with thick yummy chips, and I had the gordita with (pulled) chicken tinga – perfect gordita shells and plenty of chicken. Owner and staff were all very friendly and warm; service was great and quick. I highly recommend this place.

The place was very nice and clean on the inside. The service was great. They were very nice. We are from Chicago and been looking for authentic mexican food instead of tex mex. We had the carne Asada burrito which was amazing. The meat is high quality, no fat. Then we had the steak tacos, you can taste the freshness of the home made tortillas. The pastor tacos as well which didnt taste like the pastor we have back in Chicago but it was ok. The chips and salsa were very good and flavorful both the red and green so we’re both the salsa they gave to put on the tacos and burrito. Even their chips are freshly cooked. Their cucumber lime and pineapple Agua fresco was refreshing and a very generous size. This will be one of our spots we go to when we crave the authentic Mexican food for sure. Highly recommend

The place is in an old house of Parmer but don’t let it fool you. The food is solid. The cost is normal for a post inflation times but the portions and flavor make it a deal.
I ordered the steak and pork tacos on corn tortillas. First the steak was solid and is a good choice if you’re craving beef. I think the pork tacos were the highlight for me though. They were slightly fatty in a good way, with a bit of crispy texture. It had good marinade and seasoning.
Lastly I need to praise the corn tortilla. I’m usually no fan since most places make it dry, brittle and tasteless but it was soft moist and flavorful. I can honestly say it’s the best I have had in years.
They also give you a red and green salsa. I’m all team green but red is good too.
The staff is friendly and nice and have great recommendations if you don’t know what you may like. I plan to come back and try the other things.

MUST STOP! Wow what a stumble upon spot! The service was top notch. Let me talk about the food! I’ve been looking for chicharrones and THIS IS THE PLACE. The guacamole was so fresh and the chips are homemade. We got margaritas and appetizers and it was just beyond amazing. The Mexican rice and carrots beans had so much flavor. We got food togo and look forward to coming back here.

What an amazing spot! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and high quality — you can really taste the difference. The ribeye tacos with bone marrow and chicharrón were out of this world — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The homemade corn tortillas were fresh and had that perfect texture. Don’t skip the aguas frescas either — super refreshing and a great complement to the meal. Everything tasted authentically Mexican and made with care. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates great food and excellent service. Absolutely loved our experience here. Can’t wait to come back!

The BEST authentic Mexican food around! Everything is $20 and under and made in house. You can tell the owner puts his heart into this place and provided top notch customer service. Coming from a person who’s mom made nothing BUT authentic Mexican food growing up I was a kid in a candy store having my moms food right at my finger tips! Where else can you get a 5 street taco plate with beans and rice under $20 in Austin?! And the cucumber-lemon-
Pineapple agua Fresca was really refreshing!
Will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone I know

I am def going back for Chicharrón. This is my first time trying Chicharron. It was rich in savory and pleasant amount of saltiness; if it was not 10A.M., I def ordered beer. Perfect matching food for cold beer. My husband ordered breakfast burrito. He loved it. Loved their homemade limeade too. Not too sweet and refreshing.
