The Grill is hands down the best burger in the city. No doubt about it, at least so far. Order it medium rare or medium and you will not regret it. The place is beautiful, especially if you want to enjoy sunsets or take a short walk with the golf courses in the background. Even though it has an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, the prices are very reasonable. The coffee is excellent and the croissant is also very good. I am definitely going back. I have already visited several times for the burger, but I also want to try their breakfast soon.

We came here on a Sunday night for late night dinner we were staying at the hotel nearby. They were really quick with their service. Drinks were very good too. We loved sitting out by the fire and enjoyed a nice meal. We would like to come back during daylight to enjoy the scenery.

After finishing a round of golf, it feels so good to sit here, have a bite, enjoy a drink, and take in the beautiful view. This course is absolutely stunning — and having such a lovely restaurant right next to it makes it perfect. I’ll definitely be a regular.

Located right next to the golf course, it’s a great spot to snap some beautiful photos. We ordered the tomato soup, which came with perfectly pan-seared bread stuffed with cheese — a delicious touch. The Caesar salad was also excellent. I especially enjoyed their draft beer, which had a wonderfully strong fruity aroma.

My husband had the Sloppy Joe that he enjoyed. (It was a bit messy)
I had the Roma tomato soup that came with half a grilled cheese sandwich. It was delicious comfort food.

We were visiting Del Mar for a weekend wedding. A friend recommended we check out The Grill at Torrey Pines which is just south of town. We were warmly greeted by Justin at the Lodge who escorted us to the Grill. The welcoming staff seated us at an outdoor table with incredible views of the golf course and the forthcoming setting sun. Our server Joshua was incredibly attentive and provided solid recommendations for our dinner. The food was amazing as we lingered over glasses of perfectly chilled red wine. We looking forward to a return visit with a round of golf included. ⛳️
