Great selection of local beer. The cocktails are great too and highly recommend their version of the Alabama slammer! Went during the day and at dinner. The hidden gem of this place is you can sit back and watch the ships pass into the distance over Fort Lauderdale Beach. The food was great and it’s hard to beat the burger and fries + beer for $15 on a Monday night.

Great spot right near the beach in the Birch State Park. Cute outdoor seating as well. Service from Tony and Shannon was amazing, with a big local draft selection. Watermelon brushetta was surprisingly amazing as was the Cuban.

What a great lunch spot! I ordered the Cobb salad and my partner had the fiesta salad with shrimp. Absolutely delicious and so fresh! Shrimp was grilled perfectly with nice seasoning. Our server was so attentive. There was a one man band and the music was so enjoyable. A perfect way to enjoy a beautiful day in south Florida!

We ended up here for a couple of hours enjoying the live music and food!
The watermelon bruschetta was excellent. The orange sherbet cocktail was so refreshing! Could have skipped the adult grilled cheese, but the fries were good.

I love The Grill at The Grove at the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park!!!!! This was my second time dining at The Grill. The weather was spectacular so 5 stars for the view of the ocean. A friend was visiting and staying at a condo across Sunset Boulevard.
Nancy was our server. Nancy gets 5 stars too. She gave us suggestions on fan favorites. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and my friend got a hamburger. The portions were HUGE. The meals were delicious, and the beachy atmosphere was da bomb! Memorable meal and evening. $6 for parking !

Read some pretty terrible reviews, here’s my 2 cents..
Came on a Friday afternoon around 4pm with a couple friends and my dog. YES they are still dog friendly, even have a bowl and water station for them.
Before we even fully sat down we had a lovely waitress come by to see what we needed. Got water and menus, so yes they are doing table service. We did have to get up to see what beers were on tap but were offered samples before we committed! Unfortunately no happy hour.
Food is good, not mind blowing. I had the turkey BLT with chips and enjoyed all of it, my friends had no complaints.
Yes they do add the 20% on the bill automatically but it’s what I would have tipped anyway so didn’t bother me.
Yes they have the “side path” closed off, I don’t know why and didn’t ask.
The sign with the $2 is for the state park, it’s the same fee if you walk/ bike in at the main gate, I’m glad they’re enforcing it as it’s a beautiful park that is well deserving.
Yes there was live music and he was great!

It’s a beautiful park in the middle of the Fort Lauderdale Florida. It’s by the beach you can take a walk. You can come with your car have some picnic or even if you want there is a water taxi. You can go everywhere and see all the kennel. By the way, there is a bar you can drink all Florida local beer.

We stopped by 3 times this week. Shannon and Libby were amazing bartenders very kind and attentive and filled me in on the local bars and restaurants to check out in the area. We had nachos twice and a side fries once. Both were hot and fresh the nachos being some of the best I have had caught me by surprise! The drinks were made excellent( my partner got mixed drinks, I had tried 3 beers transplant, birch and sea foam ? I definitely enjoyed the transplant the most. Shout out again to Shannon for having awesome vibes and amazing customer service hope you have a happy new year and we will definitely be back again once in the area to say hi and for those nachos!
