Really strong cleaning product odor upon entry. Server was very friendly and accommodating, but the environment itself is dark. Ordered reuben and Philly steak. Both came with fries. Fries were very oily, tasted as if they had been cooked in recycled oil. Both meats, corned beef and steak, had aftertaste. Maybe it was just our experience, though. Disappointed as we have been looking for a restaurant that is not a franchise from where you can get a quick and good bite to eat, but no such luck yet.

After wondering about this local spot for what feels like years, we finally had dinner here on a Sunday evening – 2 of us at 6:30. We made a reservation online but probably didn’t need to – there were a handful of tables open when we got there. The experience from start to finish was great. Super laid back and nice vibe at this place. Wine selection is extensive, had a glass of super Tuscan which was great. Diet coke ratio was great. We both had salads with chicken added. Super tasty. I had a side of Mac and cheese which was also great. And for some reason felt the need to try the chocolate cake and man it was good. Will try some better will power next time. Will definitely be back – need to try more things on menu! Loved the fact a few seemingly regulars were watching football at the bar. All customers just seemed to be chilling and relaxed. Big recommend from us ! Glad we live so close 😉

We drove an hour from Madeira Beach in search of the bar pizza we love and miss from the South shore bars in Massachusetts.. the pizza was laced …cooked to perfection and their grilled Caesar salad was worth the ride! Our bartender Gabby was very friendly knowledgeable and attentive.. she made a great margarita! We will definitely be back to see Gabby and upon her suggestion take some “half cooked “ pies home!

Our visit to The Grill at Morris Bridge in Tampa was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, we enjoyed a delicious meal and outstanding service.
We started with the prime rib, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully. The seafood risotto was just as impressive—creamy, rich, and loaded with fresh seafood that made every bite memorable.
Our waitress, Adriana and Bartender Nicole (Bahama Mama-Highly Recommend) were excellent—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, which made our evening even more enjoyable.
To finish the night, we treated ourselves to a decadent chocolate cake paired with raspberry sauce and ice cream. It was the perfect blend of rich and refreshing—a wonderful ending to a fantastic dining experience.
We highly recommend The Grill at Morris Bridge for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

This is our second time coming to The Grill at Morris Bridge. We enjoyed our experience the first time around, so we decided to come back. On our first visit, I had the smashburger with fries and it was very good; my husband ordered a pizza. Jason was our server and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. HOWEVER, we just left the restaurant after our second visit, and unfortunately we were underwhelmed and quite disappointed. We ordered specials on the menu: the mahi-mahi and my husband chose the French onion chicken dish. The mahi-mahi was served lukewarm with too many pickled onions on top that were cold, which cooled off the dish even more. The chicken dish was not moist, but the overall flavors of both dishes were satisfying. The tipping point for us was when we ordered dessert- a bread pudding topped with ice cream. We waited a long time for it to arrive which was fine, but when it was finally served, the woman pushed the dessert plate onto the table in a rude fashion without saying a word or even giving us eye contact. She served it without spoons and because she dropped it onto the table so quickly, she didn’t give us an opportunity to ask for spoons. (I started to speak but she was already gone).Our waitress (who was very nice) came by and realized we had no spoons, and said the other gal was supposed to bring spoons and she took care of us. I am usually not critical of restaurant service/food quality but the woman who pushed the dessert across the table was very rude. My husband and I have never been treated like that by anybody serving food to our table. It’s quite surprising and disappointing given the prices that are charged and the upscale ambiance of the restaurant.

We had a large party, so I didn’t get pics of everything—just the dishes at my table. Overall, the ambiance was nice and the waitstaff did a good job. The manager/owner was somewhat friendly.
Food highlights:
-Alcoholic drinks – on point!
-Meatballs – different, but tasty.
-Ribeye sandwich – delicious.
-Side of macaroni & cheese – not homemade, but it served its purpose.
-Philly steak sandwich – very good; next time, I’d ask for the meat to be chopped instead of shaved (personal preference).
-Rigatoni – unfortunately, not good.
-Herb grilled salmon – very, very good.
-Chicken marsala – something was slightly off with the sauce, but still good (even better the next day).
-Smash burger – very good.
While my experience was overall decent, it’s probably not a place I’d personally return to. That said, it’s worth trying at least once—especially for the drinks and entrées.

My wife randomly found this restaurant on Google and wanted
to try something we haven’t tried before. When we arrived, we couldn’t believe there was on 2 people here after our experience. This place is 10/10!!!!! We were greeted which we believe to be the manager instantly when walking in. S/O to our waitress and also the bartender. Both of them provided amazing customer service. The bartender made the best margarita and strawberry Long Island. The food was amazing!!!! Really fresh, packed with flavor, and delicious. There is no way this place is not packed! It’s such a vibe and may I add “ SUPER CLEAN “. We definitely will be coming back. S/O to the entire staff, we had an amazing first experience.

Thank you, Frank the owner, for confirming you were waiting for my review, it just tells people you were wrong and handled the situation poorly. Called in a take out order which consisted of 2 Cross Creek salads with iceburg lettuce and blackened grilled chicken. What I got were 2 very small salads with arugula which I hate and grilled chicken not blackened. I called and spoke with the girl who took the order who insisted I didn’t tell her iceburg lettuce. I hung up because I shouldn’t be arguing over what I ordered, I didn’t ask for a refund or replacement. Salads went in the garbage, they were horrible!!!! Furthermore, Frank the owner, accused me in his reply to my review of trying to get free food, I didn’t ask for free food, I just wanted them to know there was a problem. I have been going to this place for sometime now, always ordered the appetizers, filet mignon, drinks and spending a decent amount of money but after being treated like trash, I will never go back nor will I recommend it.
