Wow—just wow! That was our reaction the moment we arrived for dinner at this stunning spot. From the moment we stepped into the yard, we were blown away by the view. Watching the sunset from the gardens was absolutely magical, and the setting itself is just as charming—lush, peaceful, and full of history. It’s a registered historic place, and now I truly wish we had booked our stay at the hotel here!

We were part of a large dinner group of 30 and had a private room for the evening. The experience couldn’t have been more perfect. I cannot say enough about the incredible wait staff—Jesus and another gentleman took such attentive care of us, anticipating every need with genuine warmth and professionalism.

And the food? Check out the photos I posted—it tasted every bit as amazing as it looks. The entire evening was unforgettable. Between the beautiful venue, the exceptional service, and the incredible food, this is an absolute must when visiting Tucson!

We made a reservation for a special anniversary a week in advance. Didn’t get a table with a view, management said they do the best they can. Food was ok, we had the filet and rib eye steak. We were seated in a corner with a screen… when finally raised to a dirty window we viewed the pool with patrons starring at us. We could have had a better experience at home viewing the mountains. For $250 we had hoped for more. We won’t return. If you do eat here, don’t hold high expectations. You may get lucky as we did 2 years ago and have a wonderful experience. Not this time.

We really wanted to love this place! We had heard such great things about it. This is a very cool, historic building and grounds with a beautiful natural desert backdrop. However, the brunch itself was mediocre at best. There are a lot of options including an omelette bar, which was the best part of the buffet. Nearly all of the rest of the food seemed prepackaged rather than prepared fresh on site, which was disappointing to us. The staff were very friendly and tried to be as attentive as possible, but it seemed they were either understaffed or they just haven’t hired enough employees to keep plates cleared and drinks filled. This is marketed as an upscale brunch, but unfortunately, the food quality and service were more what you would
expect at a chain restaurant.

Sunday brunch here is the most amazing thing you can get in Tucson. $60 per person with the first mimosa included and the subsequent ones at $1. Service is impeccable and the views are pristine! Food quality and selection is also top notch! I love the fresh raw oysters and the jumbo shrimp as well as ceviche. Desert seafood here is quite amazing. There’s also so many fruits and veggies including fresh berries. If you’re a meat eater you’ll enjoy their freshly carved roast beef and plenty more selections! The eggs Benedict is to die for. Dessert is also a must!

Everything about this place was excellent. The ambiance, the food, the music, and the overall atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable evening. But what really exceeded expectations was the customer service and the bread.

The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely service-oriented. You could tell they cared about the experience, not just the table. It made the whole experience feel effortless and welcoming.

And the bread… wow. They serve two types: a sourdough from a local, award-winning bakery, and a homemade sweet bread. Both were outstanding. I honestly couldn’t stop eating them—each one was memorable in its own way and set the tone for the entire meal.

An exceptional experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I ordered a simple scrambled eggs with cheese and advocado which wasn’t on the menu but I was accommodated nonetheless. My Freind ordered the biscuit and gravy, which she said was the best she’s ever had. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the presentation was beautiful. From the time we were greeted at the door by a wonderful gentlemen, to our waitress who was very attentive, to the food which was presented beautifully and tasted even better. I can’t say enough about the staff here and food. We had a great time. I highly recommend eating here. Their evening entertainment and food is also worth the experience.

I should have read the more recent reviews before booking this restaurant for my wedding anniversary, I would likely have gone elsewhere. I guess something must have happened at this restaurant if they still have a 4.5 overall rating when most of the recent reviews have been quite negative. I’ll add my less than ideal experience to the mix. While the service and servers were friendly, the pace was wayyyy tooooo sloowww. Not sure if it’s a matter of training or maybe a kitchen problem. but when you can’t seem to even catch someone’s eye to fill your empty water glass or bring your bill, that’s a problem at a place that charges over $50 for pretty routine entrees. The $32 charcuterie board was…fine. The $52 halibut dish was … ok. The equally expensive salmon was …also fine. The incredible view was worth a bit of a premium, just not that much. There was a problem with our bill as well, and still not sure if that’s going to get sorted out or if I will be forced to call them or my credit card company to resolve. Overall, pretty disappointing. A place like this should do better. Much better.

Definitely a high end restaurant that is also comfortable and not too fussy. Live music and a great bar, and a terrific staff. Everything we had was excellent, I could have had a whole plate of the Cajun shrimp tempura, part of their shrimp appetizer and the lamb shank was incredible. The only thing I would change is the lighting, it’s a little too bright in the room we ate in, add some golden indirect light and wow. Thanks for a great evening.

We just returned from having brunch and couldn’t have been more pleased. We tried it about 4 years ago and while the atmosphere was superb, the food was sort of meh .
We tried again after the hostess on the phone convinced us to. She could not have been more accurate. The food quality and variety was amped up. The service was over-the-top. The only disappointment was the prime but you can’t always guarantee the cuts of meat.
Bottom line, we will easily return and with other friends and family in tow.

Had a business dinner with a group and we were well accommodated. Great service. Food was served perfectly cooked and ready to eat. Nice wine list. Enjoyed a Faust Cabernet. Hubby and I had the Filet Mignon for dinner. Great place! Visited the bar before dinner and well attended… delicious drinks made. Make your way outdoors for a photo with your loved one.
