We initially planned to have some vine, but after observing bartender’s (Ashley) temper, mannerisms and approach, we decided it wasn’t a glass of wine type of atmosphere, so we skipped the wine and ordered food. Between the four of us, we had cheeseburgers and bacon cheeseburgers. The quality of meat was good, just what you would expect from Marriott burgers, but it wasn’t cooked to order. I ordered mine well done, but got it medium rare. All in all, horrid experience and a total waste of money.

Loa is an exceptional server! This is our second morning having breakfast here and Loa remembered exactly what we had yesterday down to the fact that Jim likes ketchup with his potatoes!
Service is excellent and the kitchen accommodates special requests to the best of their ability.
We also had lunch here yesterday, on the patio, and the experience was the same; excellent service and good food.
Highly recommend, Especially if you were staying at the Grande Vista Hotel!

We ate here twice as it was on site at the resort. The food was fairly good. The staff were all nice, but it’s short staffed. Things are slow. Out of many menu items. Examples: order draft beer, 10 mins later told draft beer is out. Staff next day unsure if fixed,have to check for a while, then told no. Out of diet soda. Make online reso for 11am. Arrive 11am and told the kitchen is switching from breakfast mode to lunch mode, so you have to wait half an hour. Friendly staff, but i think the resort is missing an opportunity here. The hostess is the busser, so away from front mostly. The food was the best of the 3 resort options. But a clunky experience. We were on vacation and smiled and enjoyed the resort. Just wanted to offer examples, not talk negatively about the place.

We ate here three mornings in a row while we played around the resort. The servers were quite friendly and personal, even when there were more tables than they could get to. The food was creative and original given the need for a menu that could suit many tastes. As breakfast, it was quite satisfying, with everything well done and to order. Once the order was in, the food didn’t take too long to prepare, either. Everyone ate well. The facilities were clean and the conditions fresh. The breakfast tacos with plant meat were a favorite of the spouse.

This is ridiculous. My hubby and I waited at least close to 10 minutes to be seated. Hardly no staff. No one in the restaurant hardly. I see why now. Room7209 The pancakes were warm But, you give us cold butter . Horrible. I think this will be our last stay at this resort.

Marriot Resort – No remote for tv, thermostat not working and I literally froze . I woke up a little sick. 4/11/24. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Not at all. We’ve stayed here at least 5 times over the years and it’s gone down. The rooms look shabby and unclean. My ankles were itching last night. I will think twice about coming back .

Came in for a drink from the grande vista to hear the live music with a party of 5. Not crowded at all. Nice atmosphere, We were seated and ordered our drinks….. they came out at a time over the next 45 minutes and after an hour we were still waiting on the 5th drink. Asked for the bill, No apologies and the waiter brought the 5th drink in a paper cup. Talked to the manager, Jason, to let him know of the poor service. He asked us what he could do for us and we told him we just wanted him to know that we were very disappointed with the service. He said thanks for letting him know and we asked him to at least remove the last drink from the bill that we waited an hour for that was eventually delivered in a paper cup. . I would skip this place next time and I’m very glad we didn’t come here for dinner.

Went on line to checkout menu there was a huge selection was looking forward to a steak got there menu had been pared down to 4 meals. One of the people in our group had a peanut allergy when we told the waitress her response was there is no peanut in what you are ordering. The proper protocol is the chef needs to know to make sure no cross contamination.
