The portions are HUGE! And the dishes are delicious! There is always a nice waitress ready to serve you and the atmosphere is incredible. Ideal for brunch or a breakfast date. Do not underestimate the size of the sweets!
Important: Pay your Park Meter!!!! Cops are always checking them!!
10/10 Hands down the best breakfast in town.
I hadn’t had sugar in nearly three months due to a very aggressive cut, so I was genuinely craving something indulgent. That’s what brought me to The Griddle.
The service itself was good, though not exceptional enough to compensate for the food, which unfortunately was quite bland. I ordered scrambled eggs, the Fruity Pebbles French toast, and the Black Magic pancake (filled with Oreos). I was especially excited for the Fruity Pebbles French toast, but it fell noticeably short of expectations—it tasted just alright, nothing special or memorable. The Oreo pancake was disappointing as well, coming off somewhat undercooked. The only consistently solid item was the scrambled eggs, which, in my opinion, are hard to mess up.
While I understand that paid parking is part of dining in a big city, discovering that parking was no longer free—didn’t help the overall experience. Overall, there are far better breakfast options in the area. This is one of those places where presentation clearly beats flavor.
Found this gem on a recent trip to the Los Angeles area
Food: delicious and enormous portions. I had the Chicago Charlie Scramble, which really hit the spot. A great scramble. My wife and I split the Bananana pancakes. Highly recommend the pancakes— and order will take up a third of the table and you likely won’t eat it all, but well worth it
Service: quick and friendly. Our waitress was wonderful
Highly recommend!
