Amazing evening in the greyhound. Tomahawk steak was pretty impressive and best scallops dish I think I have ever had! Landlord and team were lovely and gave us lots of little touches to celebrate our anniversary which was really appreciated! Fireplace and atmosphere made it super cosy. Highly recommend.

Just had our first Sunday lunch with the new management (Johnny & team) which was amazing. Beef was perfect. Grass fed and organic from Foxholes in Hertford. Good wine too! Well done and we’re looking forward to our next visit already!

Great pub quiz once a month, we come as a group of ladies and only meet to come here, so it’s a great time to catch up and quiz at the same time. Pinot blush is great, have not tried the food but looks lovely and popular plenty of people having food while we are there.

Having eaten at another secret thai garden restaurant, I had high expectations. However, the standard is not comparable with the food at the coach and horses. Nice pub, but I cannot recommend eating in the restaurant.

Honestly I hate giving bad reviews, but today’s experience was beyond every taste. Thai restaurant was recommended to us, and I choose it as a place for late valentines evening. .. worse mistake possible… service was good until we made complaint about main dish. My curry beef/ prawn tasted like dessert…it was so sweet I couldn’t taste if I’m eating pork or prawn…honestly tasted like a dessert… but I wanted to keep it to myself until my wife complaint about sweetness of her’s dish… even though she ordered something completely different. When we mentioned to the head waitress that it’s uneatable as its to sweet, she asked what we want to do about it. As being nice and hate to complaint we said nothing, hoping they will assume and take of at least something of the bill … I’ve end up paying over £80 for 2, including drinks… shame… they Will not see any business from myself or any of my friends … C’est la vie!

I pop in here quite regularly as it is only up the road and I would say it boasts a cosy, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. They serve decent wine in nice glasses and the Thai food is delicious and reasonabley priced compared to the restaurants in town so it’s my restaurant of choice if I fancy Thai. I haven’t had any issues with the bar staff, they have always been friendly and accommodating when I’ve been there so I would say it’s well worth a visit.

Had a very enjoyable evening at the Greyhound, great food and drink for very reasonable prices. The staff were excellent just the right level if attention without being intrusive, and knowledgeable about the menu on offer. ‘Lesley’ one of the staff, kindly gave our friends a lift home when they were unable to obtain a taxi ! Above and beyond ! Look forward to visiting again soon
