The Greene Turtle started in Ocean City as a place where beer was king and the menu consisted of a barrel of peanuts. Over time, we’ve grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. We make hearty food using fresh ingredients and highlight the blue crab dishes that are authentic to the Mid-Atlantic. Gather around and try food that’s so good that you’ll have to share.

I stayed at the Garden Hilton Inn across the street and was given a free appetizer or desert if I ate at Green Turtle Sports Bar. (Sounds more like a car wash name).
The Green Turtle Sports Bar, as you can see from the pics has plenty of TV’s, great sound quality, outstanding service, and a respectable Sports bar menu. Keimanni, Sasha, Ahmir, and team checked on me several times. This was the best service Ive received at a restaurant in many years. Great work team!!

This is not the first time we had a very disappointing experience at a Green Turtle location. Upper management really should consider changing expectations of employees before they go out of business.
With this location-
The establishment was disgusting. Dirt everywhere, the floor was sticky, bathroom had toilet paper everywhere and needed a good disinfecting. The ceiling above our booth was leaking, so water kept dripping on us. The Health Department should fine this establishment.
Worst part was that we sat for almost 15 min with no server coming to greet us or at least let us know they will be with us soon. There were plenty of people there with enough servers attending to them, but it was packed. It was Valentine’s Day and my husbands and my first date out without kids in a while. We were beyond pissed about being so rudely ignored and left. Thank God for Red Robin across the street! They were fantastic and they got the good tip we would have given at Green Turtle

My friends and I went on a Friday night and had a great time! The food and drinks were on point—especially the crab dip and wings, which were a standout. What really made the night, though, was the vibe. They had a patio option with upbeat music and hookah, which set the perfect atmosphere to just relax and enjoy. Exactly what I needed—thank you! After some research I located the hookah brand online – “Clouds after Dark” that vibe coupled with GT’s excellent customer service made for a great start to my weekend. I will return very soon.

Came here on a late night post call of duty hangout. Service at the bar was mad slow, but it was midkey crowded so I understood.
My only annoyance was the buffalo chicken nachos. They were so good, but more than half of my chips were naked and uncovered. When I asked for more of everything to put on the chips, lady bring me a small cup of JUST chicken. No sauce, no cheese, no seasoning to the chicken. Just chicken. Ma’am blew me bad.

Horribly filthy, with spiderwebs dangling off of the picture frames, the tvs, walls and on the bathroom walls too! The tvs in the private room had dried disgusting stuff on them, I don’t even know what!! How can you serve food in a place like that?? It was clearly obvious that nobody cleans that restaurant. And yet you charged for a large party, shameful! The mozzarella sticks were cold, lol….and the crab dip was hard. Hmmmm, not sure I can recommend this place!! What does it look like in the back? I think this Greene Turtle Restaurant in Owings Mills Maryland deserves a visit from the health department!! Ewww..

Heard about it on TikTok came out for my birthday with a few friends. I don’t know if she is the promoter but a nice young lady came over and introduced herself and thank us for coming out. The Hookah was good. The DJ kept good energy. I will say I think they need more servers. We would have bought a bottle, but the server took too long coming back overall I will come back on a Friday night. Food is just ok

When we walked in we were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress came right over to assist us. Our drinks and appetizer came out fairly fast. She kept coming back to check on us while we were eating. When our food came out the fries were cold nobody wanted them. My salad was good but way too much bacon a bit salty for me so I picked through it. There was a small amount of BBQ sauce on the burger and the bread for the hot dogs was too hard so my daughter ended up only eating the hot dogs. When we tried to put ketchup on the food there was a tiny bit at our table so I tried three more tables close by but there was none in those either. When it was time to pay the check it took forever to get and forever for our payment to be picked up. I was uncomfortable while sitting because it was cold in there.

I have come to the GT quite a few times summer and typically the overall experience is ok. The food is ok, the service is usually really good but Over the last month the cutie behind the smoke has really elevated the vibes and atmosphere. My friends and I have gone 3 Friday’s in a row! My new favorite place after a long week. Can’t wait to go back!

I really enjoyed the Clouds After Dark event at The Green Turtle – Owings Mills. The hookah was excellent—smooth, long-lasting, and definitely some of the best I’ve had in the area. What I appreciate most is having a safe, chill, and mature place close to home where working adults can unwind after a long day without having to drive all the way into the city.
Owings Mills needed something like this, and Clouds After Dark provides just that—great hookah, good vibes, and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!
