The Greene Turtle started in Ocean City as a place where beer was king and the menu consisted of a barrel of peanuts. Over time, we’ve grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. We make hearty food using fresh ingredients and highlight the blue crab dishes that are authentic to the Mid-Atlantic. Gather around and try food that’s so good that you’ll have to share.
Sports-bar chain with a casual menu of burgers, ribs & a variety of brews, plus plenty of TVs.

I had to go back to get my order corrected 3 times. I eventually just ask for a refund. They charge 12.99 for loaded tots and nothing was loaded about it. The sandwich was just thrown together. The pasta came in a cardboard bowl. The bowl was soggy by the time I got to my hotel. And the cake looks nothing like the picture as it was advertised. I wasn’t going to leave a review but It took almost a week to get my refund. 2 things i don’t play about is my money and my food.

I’m very sad to write this review as we had high hopes for this place my aunt picked for my Uncle’s 70th Birthday. She was so excited she rented the party room and paid a lot to have the food catered. We had 56 people so a very large party but the room just managed to fit everyone, however it was a very tight fit.
We had two servers Braiden and a tall gentleman who were helping out but it appears it might of been too much for them to handle on their own.
The food was taking forever and one table didn’t get service until about an hour and half in. By the time I got up to get my food everything was already gone! There were three shrimp left in the pan and we only saw the tall guy twice through the whole visit (they should have been checking on people more frequently) someone should be stopping by and reachable every 20 minutes as it was a lot of people with a fixed menu so it shouldn’t have been this difficult. If they were doing the checks like they were supposed to, there wouldn’t have been empty pans with people upset they missed a round of food. I never got to get any of the other options because by the time the second round of food did come it was already gone (this tells you people were hungry) and no one came to replace the food in a timely manner. My aunt and uncle were so disappointed as we trusted them with a big event like a 70th Birthday and they definitely missed the mark here. We’ve had great experiences at Copper Canyon with the same amount of people for my Aunt’s Birthday with no issue, great service and great food. The food here was also not great and took far too long. What were they doing? Making each pan once the other ran out? You need to be ready to replace ASAP no one wants to wait until they lose their appetite to get their food. You need to be at the very least doing refills and then checking the pans periodically. This was not done and it was such a disappointment to my uncle he actually pulled our service to the side and told him this was not the level of service we expected for how much money we spent here. Others also ordered drinks and food on top of the menu that was fixed so they definitely made a lot off this party for them to do us this dirty is unacceptable. I don’t usually write reviews this bad but it was really a terrible experience for everyone and felt like a complete waste of money. This is a nice spot if you want something quick but for parties this size they are ill-prepared. Please save yourself the time and embarrassment and look at other options because this definitely was not it and they knew they weren’t able to accommodate this size party with just two people and it showed in the level of service they provided. I was so disappointed I only ordered a drink and pushed away my plate. The shrimp tasted weird to me and I love seafood, plus we never got to have all the options like sliders they had on the menu is how slow they were to replace the pans. Everyone commented on how long they were taking and how the food was not good here. This was a negative star experience – skip this place if you care about who you bring here. I wouldn’t even bring someone I didn’t like very much here honestly. Normalize letting companies know when and where they miss the mark so they can improve because man let me tell you I’d want my money back if it was me.

Jaelen, came to our table maybe 3 times. It was not a busy day. Had to flag him down just to get my girlfriend a water refill. I had one beer and he never came by for me to get another one. Food took forever as well. The Caesar wrap did not even have Caesar dressing either. Not sure what was going on today but incredibly disappointed.

Great environment. A very friendly sports bar. Nice variety of food: seafood, burgers, wings, salad, steaks, etc. A wide variety at the bar for liquor selection. It’s by a couple of hotels so there are some travelers in here as well as a nice mix of locals. Black, white, Hispanic. Males and Females. Great mix

We had a group of more than 40 people and only one server, Dominick. He crushed it! Not a single wrong order. The Green Turtle is lucky to have him.

Not sure what people are expecting. Its a sports bar specializing in cold beer, TVs and music. Food is consistently good. Expecting gourmet I probably would go somewhere else. I personally have never had a bad time here.

We had to wait for a while due to sports season. We went there to see the championship game. I will say the hostess was honest, upfront, and did her best to seat us quickly. However, after she seated us, we weren’t served for a half hour, not even water. Some people who came after us and seated after us were served and eating before we got any help. We had to finally beckon for someone after waiting patiently and nothing. Love that they have a couple of veg options here. Vegan meat, fries, tots, salad, etc. They could stand a few more options, but it’s a nearby place to go to, and the atmosphere is really great. We really ended up having a great time. And, we loved the mini TV at our booth!

We visited for a quick bite last evening and our server Rose was a power house… until she wasn’t. We really wanted to tell her supervisors, but we were not sure who was in charge. This woman had to have needed new shoes by the end of her work day. We watched her taking table after table, and I dont know how she was managing to, I would have lost my mind, and we were waiting for her to go down. We were exhausted just watching. Another employee ran into her, and somehow, she only lost 1 drink out of 4, so on her tray, the woman was soaked, and she still stayed the course. This power house woman didn’t even take a minute to dry off. She went right back into character like it didn’t happen. Our service began prompt and swift, but after a while, it drug along and got slower, but we understood why. We were watching her race around table to table and apologized repeatedly and said that they were doing shift change. Our food was good. It took a while, but considering what we observed, she couldn’t have done it any better, and she kept humor through it all. She was hilarious. Hats off to this amazing soul. She was a force. We hope her night got better. 🙂

First and foremost, Anna was SPECTACULAR in her service. She went far above and beyond and handled our group of 11 perfectly. No one’s bill was wrong, no one at our table’s food was wrong. She deserves all the gold stars and I’d go back just for her! (She also had great glasses!) The food and mixed drinks, on the other hand, was all average or slightly below average. We ordered MANY different things among the 11 of us (quesadillas, wings, egg rolls, sliders, margaritas, long island iced teas, etc.). NONE of it is noteworthy, except the deep fried cauliflower. That was delicious. Everything else was blah. Surely edible/drinkable, but blah. I’d visit again, on a full stomach by eating before I come, to have Anna’s service.
