The Greene Turtle started in Ocean City as a place where beer was king and the menu consisted of a barrel of peanuts. Over time, we’ve grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. This will always be one of my favorite bars to go to you always meet good people. You always get good service. You always get good food. They always have the games on. depending on what day of the week you can listen to a live DJ they have good bartenders and excellent servers. If you want a spot to just chill and watch the game this is the place to go. And the crab DIP 10/10 will always be hot and delicious

I’ve been here a few times and the service has always been good. The food is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes great and sometimes not so great. I always get the wings and most of the time they are plump and delicious. Today, they were overcooked and dry. And there were a couple wings that had the skin cut off for some reason. Of course, that didn’t help with keeping any moisture in.

I couldn’t understand why it took so long for our food considering the fact that there was less than 10 people in the place; however our waitress was very sweet and polite but she never came back after she delivered our food to check to see if we needed napkins, take our plates or refills. I ordered the crab cake duo and it was delicious until I bit into egg shells. Because our waitress never re visited our table, after some time, I went to the bar and inquired to have our waitress to come to our table. The lady bartender was bland and not really welcoming. She asked what was wrong with the food and seemed unbothered. Eventually my waitress came and had my entree taken off of my order. She had such a kind demeanor so I still gave her a tip. The service was not bad it’s just that after biting into egg shells I really didn’t want to finish eating. I would still go back. Things happen.

Tasty bar food with friendly serving staff, and fun events like trivia night during weekday nights!
Their food was really tasty and came in large portions. Tacos come in orders of two with a side, and the Cajun shrimp pasta was super saucy and delicious as well.
Next time I’d love to try the nachos, crab dip, and a drink as well!

The service was really good. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. As for the food, the Buffalo Chicken Dip and the Funnel Cake Fries were really good! The Shrimp Fiesta Tacos were okay, but I really did not like the Crabby Melt at all. I was expecting pieces of crab meat in the dip, but there were none. On top of that, I didn’t like the taste of the dip so I had to send it back.

Service is pretty decent and the food quality/quantity is better than TGIF by a long shot. However, there is no consistency. Sometimes you’ll get what you ordered, other days you don’t. Sometimes they just screw up your order completely by missing ingredients.

Came here late Saturday night—good amount of guests in the bar area but was able to grab seats at the bar. Apparently there is a live DJ Saturday night—the music was WAY TOO LOUD. I had trouble hearing anything within inches away. I get that it’s lively and don’t get me wrong, the music was good, but obnoxiously too loud. The bartender said this was the norm, so I would advise not to come here if you want to have actual conversations with your party—this is supposed to be a restaurant/bar, not a club.
Food was okay. Crab Dip, Smokehouse Nachos and Buffalo Chicken Dip were decent—each did not have a lot of meat and were loaded with lots of cheese. Drinks are reasonable though!
One thing I do like about this place, is that it’s open pretty late on weekends compared to other bars around the area. And lots of parking outside.

I ordered one called housefarmburger. Tasty good. My friend crab meat burger is also good. Service is good too. Some of the tables have a TV and you can watch the game at the same time.

He was a dreadful waiter. He seemed really shallow and downtrodden. It’s was very uncomfortable having him as our server.
The gratuities/tip given to him shouldn’t been provided. He kept staring over at us in an awkward manner. Also, we were preparing to leave he bolted towards us despite him being in the process of serving other customers. Which more the situation more intense and unease and uncomfortable.
His behavior was very meticulous and off putting.
I wouldn’t recommend him as a server nor would suggest anyone to get serviced by him. Very dreadful and such a void guy that we didn’t want around us.
Extremely disappointing and nonchalant experience…

Had a great time. Showed up alittle late with a party of 8 and they had no trouble taking us. Service was great food was fresh and hot and the cocktails the waitress sugested were delicious.will definitely be back
