Offering a variety of Iowa beers on tap, kombucha, cider, wine and plant-themed cocktails. We are a green cocktail lounge with two fresh-air outdoor patios, a garden sitting area, and a large, spacious main bar area. Tall ceilings, huge windows and tons of free oxygen from our huge collection of plants. Comfortable atmosphere, plenty of greenery and delicious drinks, both non-alcoholic and spirits. Lots of cozy nooks. Open in the morning for coffee and tea, as well as happy hour and night caps.

I met up with som friends here for the first time and loved it! They don’t sell food so be aware of that before you go. I wasn’t aware and ordered a drink that was way too strong for me. But the space is lovely and they have games and cards so I visited for a bit, played a few hands of solitaire, and had an order of pretzels (the most food thing you can get there). I will definitely visit again!

Great bar atmosphere and fun drinks. The service is best at the bar if busy as they don’t come around to tables much. I had the Aubrey 2 mock tail, which was good. I really enjoyed my friend’s affogato espresso drink.

We always enjoy grabbing a cocktail with work friends at green house. They have tons of fun seasonal cocktails and you are able to bring your own food in which is nice. The drinks are expensive but they are pretty adventurous.

I didn’t order food, just came for a few cocktails while staying across the street at the Chauncy. Loved this place! The cocktails were supurb, bartenders friendly and knowledgeable. Great service at the bar! They were able to suggest drinks based on your individual preferences.

My husband and I had a delightful visit to the Green House yesterday afternoon! The servers Claire, Claire, and Cameryn welcomed us into this lovely green Oasis and were super attentive. They gave wonderful suggestions on signature cocktails. I tried 3, all of which were better than the next: Barbarella, “Summer in a Cup”, & the Josephine in that order. They also didn’t give my husband too much grief for not leaving his Busch light comfort zone (fortunately it is on tap so I can talk him into a return the next time we are in town!). The owner, Emily, was a delight as well. We hope you enjoyed movie night with your daughter and we look forward to visiting when we return to town (fingers crossed that mimosa flights will be added to the menu! ).
