Really enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere has that relaxed Florida feel and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the night.
Food was good across the board fresh, well prepared, and everyone at the table was happy with what they ordered. Prices felt fair for a waterfront restaurant and portions were solid.
We went in the evening so it was too dark to really take in the view, but I can imagine it’s a great spot during the day or at sunset. Would definitely come back next time we’re in the area.

Cozy restaurant! Hosts were super sweet. We ordered the Hawaiian Chicken and the Stuffed Grouper. The Hawaiian Chicken was supposed to be served with sushi rice, however I did not get any. The server never came to check on us after the food runner dropped off our food. No rice wasn’t that big of a deal though. Our server was nice, it just took a really long time to get our check. Once she finally gave us our check, it took a long time to get the card back lol. I’d be willing to try again!

We had our first experience with the Green Flash Restaurant and it did not disappoint. We arrived by boat and there was just enough dock space to accommodate us. We didn’t have to wait which was extra nice since we had a party of eight. Our waitress had a great sense of humor. The menu selection was very good. Our food was excellent. Would recommend.

Great waterside dining on Captiva with pleasant staff. Busy and loud inside but quiet and peaceful dining on their patio. Food quality was mixed- Ceasar salad was too heavy on the anchovy’s and the scallops were bland. Coconut shrimp were very good. Service was fine.

The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The view of the docks and the Roosevelt Channel is beautiful, and seeing the water and the waterfowl come and go with people smiling for dock shots made me feel so relaxed. It’s a happy place to be. You must try it!

Knowledgeable and attentive waitress. Festive atmosphere, accommodating hostess, and Mike stopped by our table to make sure everything was okay. The food was amazing of course, especially the grilled grouper and the Green Flash trio!

Wow! Went over to Sanibel and thought “where to stop and eat.” Saw this place and had no expectations. The service from the minute you hit the door was stellar- like shocking really. So friendly and allowed us to dine outside even though the only service running was inside. Food was surprisingly good, and very well priced. But our waiter made the stop perfect. Incredibly professional and nice- knew exactly how much time to engage in conversation and bent over backwards for us. Not often a waiter shakes your hand upon leaving. This place easily gets the Schott approved five star rating for excelling at everything but mostly due to the incredible staff they had working.

Best restaurant while on vacation here this week! The food was incredible and every wait staff was so helpful… it started raining but wanted to stay outside and they all put together 4 umbrellas to keep us covered. Alex our waiter was outstanding, personable, attentive and so friendly and helpful. We got the crab cakes, captiva salad, swordfish and the trip plus amazing cocktails – the spicy marg bit the spot. Definitely recommend!!!

Fine dining + beach vibes = The Green Flash. We’re so grateful for the recommendation! The menu was Old-Florida perfection from drinks to entrees and dessert. We enjoyed cocktails, their hot crusty sourdough bread, Oysters Rockefeller, Shrimp Bisque, the Seafood Sampler, and the Green Flash Trio, and prepared to perfection. The atmosphere was open and welcoming with amazing views overlooking the Intercostal. Service was adequate, but lagged just a bit more than expected. We will definitely return!
