The Green Apple

THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE!!! 6 of us went here this morning 2/9/2026. We walked in and were met with stares from EVERYONE. The restaurant was NOT crowded. The waitress looked at our group with disgust and said, “we don’t have seating for 6 people together.” We just looked at each other with confusion. A Caucasian couple got up, said we can have their table and we pushed 2 tables together. There were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant to make accommodate a party of 6. The stares continued, so we left. The Green Apple clearly did not want African Americans in their establishment. DO NOT GO HERE! They don’t deserve our black dollars!

Typically I eat in the restaurant, and that is fine. However, I ordered this time. On the website they provide for orders you can add preferences. That they clearly do not read. So now I’m left only eating my side dish because my main dish is not something I can eat. Disappointed to say the absolute least.

My family was vacationing in the area from Massachusetts and found The Green Apple for breakfast. My husband and I and our two teenagers were very happy with our experience! The food was delicious, the service extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was quaint and cozy. We definitely will return if we are ever in the area again.

This place is awful. Rude servers, the owner/manager is unspeakably crass and did not care about giving us a pleasant dining experience, just wanted to give us our 2 plates, we ordered breakfast, eggs, bacon, and toast which we waited 40 minutes for, eat and pay the check. Informed her our server had an attitude and she couldn’t have cared less. Kate just rushed us out the door and treated us like we were an inconvenience.

I got the french toast with eggs and bacon. It was great and the egg is creamy, I just wish the cheese was more melted to blend it more. My daughter had the pancake with whipped cream. She was very happy for the way it’s shaped.

They have a large selection of breakfast food on the menu and I noticed that they really have large servings. Very affordable price as well!

Lisa runs a great place to eat! Very homey atmosphere and the food is to die for, the other day we had eggs with ham, home fries and country gravy. Lunch: we’ve had Lisa’s specialty burgers. For dinner we’ve had her fish fry. All meals have been delicious, service is prompt and very friendly.

I used to tell my clients to visit here while they waited. Twice I have been there and the waitress or cashier whatever she is, was nothing but rude, I hope you do find new employees… Terrible service, so sad bc the food is good

Was doordashing and my delivery order sat there for a good 10 min before being bagged up. We get paid hardly enough from Doordash more of our pay comes from tips just like the servers make more from tips. If the servers don’t care about doordash orders cause they aren’t getting a tip then a simple change to have a kitchen staff bag it would be great.
