I started ordering from The Greek Grill at the time of the pandemic, so that weekly I would pick up a meal: What a find! The food was delicious, and the options varied and healthy. I had stopped ordering for a while and recently placed another order and remembered why I stopped ordering: The prices were radically raised, so that now one dinner with two platters can easily run you to $70 or more, when it’s takeout. It’s not just this restaurant, to be fair. Even fast food places have gone bananas lately with the prices, but this one is a pity, because the food is so great (not a place to dine in, really, but great for delivery and pickup) that I would be ordering weekly, even twice a week if it didn’t cost so much. I don’t think two platters with sides should be getting close to 3 figures on the bill. I don’t know if the restaurant has felt the effect of this, but it looked empty the last time I went to pick up food. I hope they create some more reasonable dinner options for loyal customers. I love their food! No complaint there. I just will have to do it only every once in a while.

After our favorite Huntington Greek closed, we tried and found the Greek Grill. It’s SO good! Always very fresh, very tasty, and well prepared. They’re also really fast, whether you are picking up or getting delivery. They currently have Butternut Squash soup (which was pretty good last week), so I ordered it again last night. But I think they sent me pumpkin?! If I had known in advance, I would have ordered the largest size!! Four stars for the pumpkin soup; please keep it on the menu as long as you can?! (It’s clean and pleasant if you eat there, but it’s a typical strip mall restaurant situation; nice but not fancy.)

Took a chance on this small eatery when driving to a relatives and was pleasantly surprised!! The avgolemono soup is fantastic as is everything else we tried. Staff is very friendly and accommodating as well with smiles on their faces! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

I ordered food from here and all I can say is—I’ve finally found a Greek restaurant that makes food like I’m actually in Greece . If you’ve ever been to Greece, you know: this is as close as it to homemade as it gets.
The spanikopita was thin, flaky, and absolutely perfect—just like the kind served at a trapezi at my Theia’s house. Completely homemade and delicious. The tzatziki? Amazinnnggggg—just like Theia’s in Greece. Creamy, not too garlicky, with refreshing cucumber of course … exactly how it should be. And the souvlaki? Tender, flavorful, and marinated the right way—with real garlic and lemon, not the fake tasting chemical seasonings or an overload of salt. It was honestly perfect.
I rarely order Greek takeout because most places are so Americanized—and honestly, not good. This place is the real deal.

It’s been a while since I was able to come in and have lunch here. It was just like I remembered. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere clean and lively. Very accommodating and appreciative of their patrons. The Greek Grill is Family run and it shows. John his super nice wife and Father are always around checking in on everyone.
All the pita sandwiches are amazing and the greek specialties are fantastic. We also got some homemade rice pudding to go and it was truly an old world recipe..yummy like mom made. We will be back soon! I highly recommend this hidden Gem. A+++++++++

I ordered delivery, very disappointed in the food. The falafel was dry and had a very strange flavor, same with the spinach pie. Almost tastes like something was from the freezer.

I was a fan of this other greek spot up on Jericho but I decided to pull over for lunch and give this place a try, just gotta say I wish I knew about the Greek grill years ago! The chicken gyro is absolutely out of this world !! No dry chicken what so ever and the yellow sauce compliments the entire dish !! Definitely a gem

Awesome food. Best lamb gyro. Chicken/ rice is always cooked perfectly as well. Tried a couple places on Jericho but nothing is close to this place. True gem. Wish I got more tzatziki is my only complaint.

Placed a take out order this evening, Greek salad with chicken was good but the 2 sandwiches (a chicken gyro and chicken souvlaki) were drenched in aioli sauce, it was like eating a mayonnaise sandwich on a cold pita. It was soggy and inedible. I called and spoke to the manager and was told that’s the way we do it. Disappointing to say the least.

Placed an lunch order for my office. Ordered 2 family packages that included two choices of protein, salad, sides and dips. The whole process from ordering it the day before to picking up the order was flawless. All of the staff was friendly and even helped carried the trays to my car. The food was of high quality. The lamb gyro and chicken souvlaki was phenomenal. Everyone in the office loved it. I definitely will be returning for future business lunches and personal ones as well.
