I was so excited to try their food with the great reviews. Then I opened my sandwich and the bread was covered in literal MOLD

My response to owner: clearly you’re not reading your reviews which saddens me. Many of the negative reviews are about the bread. I encourage you to treat your customers better, and take pride in what you give out. No thanks

The sandwiches are next level here!, flavorful, and made to order with top-quality ingredients (they use Boar’s Head meats, which makes a huge difference). I love that they have over 80 sandwich options, plus salads, bowls, and wraps.

The Roasted Pepper Wrap with the house-made mozzarella is a personal favorite, and the chipotle aioli is unreal. Even the iced tea and sauces are homemade: you can really taste the care they put into everything.

Portions are generous, prices are super reasonable, and the staff is always friendly. They also have great vegetarian and gluten-free options, and their app has solid deals. Definitely one of my go-to lunch spots in Parsippany.

This is a GREAT sandwich shop and one of my favorite spots in the area to grab lunch. The food is always fresh and, if you get there during peak hours and there’s a line, the service is always fast.

Don’t hesitate to give them a shot. The sandwiches here are absolutely worth the trip!

This place is a gem of a sandwich shop/deli. The variety of sandwiches (hot & cold) is amazing and they make many of their sides and dressings in-houses. And to top it off…the customer service was amazing. Very friendly and outgoing employees. They are true sandwich artists.

Damn good sandwiches. The owners are two brothers carrying on the family tradition. The paninis are REAL. The right bread, the right press, and the right lines. Solid Cuban. I was shocked at how much I loved The Sal. Pepperoni and roast beef, who knew?

Joe, we love your sandwich shop. Eric and I are your new regulars. We’ll be trying one of everything. If you’re looking for DELICIOUS SANDWICHES, don’t even hesitate. Should have taken a pic. Next time.
P.S. great playlist in the store, too.

The tuna has been famous among my friends longer than I want to admit. We had many tuna subs here and in East Hanover. I have given and received tuna subs instead of homemade chicken soup. Legendary happy food, Wazu tuna fish.

Cash is best.

Hidden in plain sight. There’s no way you’d think a random small deli in a strip mall would make sandwiches this good. You’d be thinking wrong. The epic sandwich board has a ton of options, each one sounds better than the next. The Turkey BLT and Cranberry Walnut chicken sandwiches were both great. It’s not what I would call a romantic cozy spot, but that’s not what I’m looking for in a sandwich deli. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more. I can only imagine how popular they could be in a more prominent location.

Love the sandwiches here!
My favorite is the great wazu with the melted cheese.

Great mom and pops shop and they hire all the local high school kids. Which I think is great. Gives the local kids a place to work and hang out. They are supportive of their community.

It’s an amazing sandwich every time, no matter what you order off the menu. Staff is exceptional and takes the time to give you exactly what you need. I highly recommend if anyone is ever in the area!

I have been a Wazu enthusiast for over 25 years. You won’t find a sandwich like this most anywhere else. A top-notch operation from start to finish – the bread and meats are right, of course (I do wish they had wheat rolls on Sunday) – but what really sets it apart is the wide variety of toppings. For your Italian sub, there is not just lettuce – two (at least) kinds, not just onions – white and red, not just peppers – you get the idea. For your roast beef – horseradish. Do the chains even know what that is? Finish it off with a homemade potato salad – red skin? of course! – or macaroni salad, and it will be the best lunch you’ve had in weeks. It is almost enough to make me wish I still worked in Parsippany. Superbowl catering? Don’t go anywhere else. The line may be long (I can only get there on the weekends these days) but don’t let that scare you. Wazu runs at optimal efficiency. Separate slicer, topper, finisher, and cashier. Fast, fast, fast. You cannot beat the Great Wazu.
