I visited this restaurant once while I was in the U.S. and everything was delicious. We ordered salmon and several other dishes, and the food was excellent. The views were beautiful and the service was outstanding, very attentive and friendly. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The Great Hall Bar was aptly named because while visiting GPI for the Gingerbread displays and waiting for reservations at the Edison, we simply walked up, ordered drinks and sat outside to enjoy the spectacular scenery. No fuss, no reservations and a great experience. I’m glad we stopped here and might skip reservations at the Edison next time we visit.

Location, location, location! We loved sitting outside on the veranda. We had an incredible sunset view from the Grove Park Inn. The tables are first come first serve. The food options are limited but good. There were some gluten-free options. Prices seemed reasonable for location/view.

This is all about the views! We hoped for a nice sunset on the terrace as we sipped cocktails but it wasn’t to be. It’s still beautiful even on a gray day and the terrace is heated. We chose to stay inside in some comfy chairs with high backs and relax. Nick poured us some drinks that were just right – the Botanical Crush and the Rum Chai. We thought we had to go back to the bar for round two but the wait staff was circulating the lounge as well. It’s not cheap but we didn’t expect it to be and you certainly get what you pay for here.

Chelsea Fountain
This is a great place to gather for any occasion. We’ve come here twice and enjoyed the original old fashioned, the spiced old fashioned and a charcuterie board as well. You have to try it if you’re visiting or live nearby!

The service was non existent. A beautiful place. I am a local and really disappointed as I would like to have a place I can go for some dinner and drinks on a regular basis . I ordered some drinks at the bar and then ordered some food and asked where I was seated. After 45 minutes of no food, I went up to the bar to asked what happened to my food to be told that I would have to come to the bar for my food. All the while, the staff is putting tickets under my nose for service tips. Really not an enjoyable experience and expensive as well. Will not be back

Great for people watching, but not a relaxing hotel lobby to enjoy a drink. The table service was not available when we were there. The live music was wonderful, but the crowds of people all around were a bit much. Beautiful architecture in the hotel lobby.
