My husband and I visited this place around 3:30 PM on Sunday. The restaurant was empty, so we were happy that we would be able to get our food quickly. We both ordered the SOUVLAKI PLATE – my husband had lamb with rice, and I had french fries with shrimp. For two portions of food, side salads, and two drinks, we paid a total of $62, including tax, which seemed a bit high for this place.
We waited about 15 minutes for our food in the empty restaurant. When the food arrived, I picked up one of the two skewers with shrimp and noticed that the shrimps on the other skewer were clearly overcooked. They had tried to hide the burnt shrimp under the good ones. I returned the burnt shrimp to the girl who had taken our order earlier, explained the situation, and her response was, “I think it’s just a burnt tail, but okay, we’ll replace it.” This reaction surprised me a little, as it seemed like they were trying to deceive me twice. The new skewer of shrimp took as long to prepare as the original two full orders (again, the restaurant was empty), so by the time I finally got it, I had already eaten almost my entire portion. My fries and my husband’s rice were just okay, but his lamb was bland, and my shrimp was too salty.
Overall, our impressions of this place are quite mixed, but in the end, we both agreed that we won’t be returning.

This is our second time here and we are just in love with this place. The welcome you receive from Jacklyn(spelling? Sorry) as soon as you walk through the door, starts your experience off right!
The food is delicious, we ordered the Chicken gyro and an order of fries (not pictured), shrimp souvlaki plate, lamb souvlaki plate and an appetizer to share. DELICIOUS!
I will recommend this place to everyone I know!

The gentleman wearing glasses exhibited exceptional customer service. He exceeded expectations to ensure we comprehended the menu. I would return solely due to the service he offered, but the food was also remarkable. The rice pudding was delicious. We requested our steak medium and they cooked it perfectly.

I had a fantastic dining experience at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. We started with the Hummus Appetizer, and I really enjoyed the warm hummus. It was smooth and flavorful, served with soft pita bread, and the temperature gave it a nice, comforting feel.
For our main courses, we had the Classic Greek Salad with Gyro meat and the Great Greek Rice Bowl with Falafel. The salad was incredibly generous—definitely more than I could eat by myself—and the gyro meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. While I did feel spinach was missing, the freshness and quality of the ingredients made up for it, and it was still an excellent dish. The rice bowl was equally impressive, with crispy falafel, fluffy rice, and vibrant vegetables all coming together beautifully.
What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. Russell, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. His attentiveness and friendliness made us feel right at home, and it was clear that he truly cares about the customer experience.
Overall, everything from the food to the service was top-notch. I highly recommend The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a welcoming atmosphere.

We’ve heard good things about this place and it did not disappoint. The food was on point. Super soft, pillowy pita, well falvored meat for the gyro, fresh dill in the flavorful avgolemano, and wonderful dips. The dolmas would have been better at room temperature instead of cold. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was excellent (shout out to Jordan who was very helpful).

I love going here with my family! The customer survive is amazing. The workers are all so nice and friendly. But most of all, the food is amazing! There is such a big menu of food so it suits many people. I love how fast the food is cooked and served. It it unreal how fast they make it. It doesn’t look or taste at all like it would be made that fast. Overall, if you haven’t tried The Great Greek, you need to head over there and get some food! ❤️ ️

This place has spoiled me and made it difficult to go to other Greek restaurants-even good ones-because this is just steps above! The protein options are incredible. Hummus as smooth as silk and the desserts are a sin to miss. Staff always friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and great indoor/outdoor options. Food is excellent! A definite option for our house at least a few times every month.

Very disappointed we got here at 7:15 and was told they are only allowing To Go orders only, even though they close at 9 per the sign on their door. So we decided to take it to go. The girl helping us was singing at the register to the extremely loud radio and could not hear us and had to ask multiple times what we were ordering. We should have left but we ended up finally ordering and when we got it home the food was cold and the gyros were made wrong. I wanted no onions and they made all of them with no onions. The feta fries were cold and had to be warned in the microwave. For the price we paid this should have been much better food and at least some what warm.

Always delicious. The lemon potatoes are fantastic. I usually order the chicken gyro. Perfect balance of tzatziki, onion, meat. Never dry or stale. Super nice staff. I usually visit Blue Oaks but tried Rocklin a couple weeks ago. Tried the tipokafteri today…outstanding. They have the softest, freshest pita.

This was delivery so I did not have the service or atmosphere to rate. The ordering was easy, the delivery was fast, but most importantly, their food was great! Exactly what I had been craving. I ordered the Gyro entre and dolma. Servings are large and taste is exceptional. Highly recommend.
