We had an amazing experience at The Great Greek in Rocklin! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Marissa and Carmen waited on us and were both incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. They made us feel welcome and were happy to answer questions and offer recommendations with a smile.
Huge compliments to the chef Anmol — the food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Greek gyros, and they were packed with flavor. The pita bread on both dishes was soft, warm, and perfectly fresh. The fries covered with feta were to die for — crispy, savory, and totally addictive. We also had the falafel pita, which was delicious, well-seasoned, and incredibly satisfying.
Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. The price point was fair and well worth it for the quality, portions, and service. We will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

I recently visited a Greek café and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the meat — it was tender and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Ordered a falafel pita, it had a strange mix of diced tomatoes and slices, the onions were also some diced, some big pieces. Poor ingredient quality for the price of 12.88 including tax.
I’ve tried the location on Blue Oaks as well but prefer Wally’s Cafe, Nick the Greek or 4 Heroes. This tasted like something I could make at home for much less. Pretty bland and missing seasoning.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the US for takeout Greek/Turkish food. They have plenty of space for a nice dining, but I normally order over the phone for pickup and go. Many people in that area ordered for pickup. I’m a Turkish & Greek food lover. Rocklin had a handful of gems when it came to food/restaurants. This was one of them. The lamb plate kebab over yellow rice entree was my favorite. That yellow rice was super delicious and always on point. The owner was so generous, usually giving me complimentary items from the menu. The baklava and lentils soup was the best I ever had. Just really good authentic Mediterranean food. I kept coming back for more. I miss this place. The food was so good and satisfying and workers were always customer friendly. It was good quality Greek food. The service was quick and the food was always hot. I loved the homemade tzatziki & hot sauce. This place will not disappoint.

It was on my to try list for the past couple months and today had time to stop by with my wife.
Great service and the cashier was very friendly and helpful.
We decided to order the Gyro with beef/lamb for meat choice. For side order we got feta cheese fries.
Vibe was nice and quiet… music was not loud.

Received a dirty fork with food lodged in it. Disgusting. I asked my server for a new fork and he very rudely snatched my fork from me and didn’t apologize about the fact that it was dirty. I would not dine in here if you care about the cleanliness of the restaurants you eat at.

will give 5 stars since the food was really good, but a little too pricy for us to come regularly. $50 for both of us to eat (2 salads with meat, fries to share). would be worth coming back during the gyros 2 for 1 happy hour, its very expensive especially for the gluten free options. in defense, the salads are a good size so we might be able to get some leftovers.

We tried the soup, pitas, and gyro, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Liz, in particular, was incredibly friendly and kind, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!
