I highly recommend this place, and willl be coming back next time I’m in the area
The girl behind the counter that takes your order wears headphones so she doesn’t have to listen to the blasting Greek music in the restaurant. She takes the orders. She clears the tables after you leave. She brings your food to your table. She doesn’t wash her hands in between these things. Spraying cleaner on a table to clean it. Picking boxes up off the floor. Then hands on your plates to bring you your meal. Doesn’t even use a tray.
You can see the cooks in the kitchen. The young guy is wearing gloves. The older guy with the bandana on his head is eating food, touching his nose, then making your food. Without gloves.
I asked for ranch dressing for my salad on the falafel plate. They brought it to me, but had already doused the salad in Greek dressing. Pretty gross.
They say the olives have pits in them, but they don’t.
They do the thing that falafel places do now where they give you six falafel but only four triangles of pita to eat it with. Doesn’t add up.
Falafel is dry and crumbles when you pick it up with a fork. Mixed with that thick bitter hummus it feels really heavy in your stomach.
The fries look like they taste great, but they are bland, saltless, and as they get colder they are only worse. The restaurant doesn’t have ketchup on the tables and the girl behind the counter doesn’t offer any. Eat them dry. Since drinks would have driven our lunch bill over 60 bucks we were having a very dry meal.
We didn’t finish everything, and didn’t take home the extra. It wasn’t good enough to want it later. What a disappointment.
Also the length of time we waited for some falafel and salad was long. I wouldn’t stop here for lunch, and it wasn’t even busy. Basically the people that work there hate their jobs. You really feel it in the experience of dining here. The meal wasn’t worth ten dollars. They charged more than five times that.
Eat here at your own risk.
