We stopped by for the first time and were blown away by how good everything was. We tried the lamb gyro and a burger both were absolutely delicious and packed with tons of flavor. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Very helpful. You can tell they take pride in their food and service. Excellent food all around highly recommend trying the chicken or lamb gyros. We’ll definitely be coming back.

utstanding experience at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill! I ordered the Lamb Rice Bowl and the Steak Souvlaki, and both were cooked perfectly medium rare tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into each dish. Every bite was a reminder of why Mediterranean cuisine is so special.
A huge shoutout to Taylor B, who made our first visit even better with her friendly energy and spot-on recommendations. She helped us navigate the menu with ease, they have an outside seeting area as well sp you can dine with your 4 legged pal really made us feel right at home.
Between the incredible food, flawless cooking, and exceptional service, this place easily earns a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend,we’ll definitely be coming back again (and again)!

Food is phenomenal! Restaurant is clean, modern and spacious. This restaurant chain partners with GiftAMeal so when you eat here you can scan a picture of your meal and they will donate to a local food bank! Pretty neat contribution and amazing food.

I had picked up food for a friend a few weeks ago and the smell of this place has left me drooling ever since so I had to go check it out. Had this for the first time for my birthday this weekend. And It was phenomenal. I’ve never had greek food before and I am not the type of person to try anything outside my comfort zone. I am glad I did. The food and staff are amazing. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Feta fries are my new way to eat them like what even is ketchup anymore?? Definitely new favorite place to eat.

Everything was amazing; however, the steak and salad were top notch. The steak was absolutely tender and grilled to perfection. The salad was freshly made and crunchy.

I have to say it’s the cleanest food I had in a while. What I mean by that is Yes the condiments and everything will fall off out of the burger for example but it’s not where your fingers are all dirty and the burger it’s becoming a mess. The Gyro gray flavors not overpowering will combine especially the feta It doesn’t overpower but it gives flavor to the meat, very clean place I have to say The salad it does its job which is to cleanse your palette and give you the chance to taste everything that you eating. Overall very satisfying food the lemon potatoes were amazing You had to try them in the baklava It’s hard to find a delicious well done not overpowering baklava It just tastes amazing. Friendly service even when it’s busy.

I’ve visited this place twice now, and both times it was very crowded—which is no surprise since it just opened on the west side a few weeks ago. Despite the rush, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking orders right away and getting the food out as fresh and quickly as possible. Everything tasted flavorful and high-quality, with generous portions. I’m so glad this spot opened up on my side of town! I’ll definitely be coming back, especially for the baklava ice cream—it’s a must-try.

I was passing through town on a road trip. After getting a hotel for the night I needed to find some dinner. I wasn’t in the mood for burgers or Mexican food and since it had been a month or so since I ordered Greek, I was looking forward to trying this place.

The counter service was good and the cashier was I ordered the falafel entree and the lamb gyro. Honestly, it all tasted pretty generic.

I’ve had gyros at tons of different restaurants in dozens of different countries and have never had big chunks of meat in my gyro. The meat was not thinly sliced and was tough to bite into. The falafel and hummus were bland and there was so little tzatziki that it wasn’t worth including it.

The only good part of all of it was the lettuce salad and dressing.

This was my first (and last) time eating here. I didn’t realize this was a chain restaurant. I definitely hope my experience was a one-off, but I won’t be eating at this chain in the future.

Listen, leaving negative reviews isn’t my thing. It isn’t worth the energy and it usually isn’t helpful to the business/owners. But this place is a chain and the quality is so substandard I can’t let you waste your meal & money on something so uninspired. There are INCREDIBLE local Mediterranean/Greek restaurants in ABQ, and I highly recommend you go to those places (Yasmines, Gyros, Chello). They deserve your support and you will love the food. The staff here were great, very kind, inviting, they were awesome. The interior was clean and comfortable. But the food is overpriced, unflavored, and assembly line. The chicken lemon soup was pretty good. But $19 dollars for a few shreds of overcooked, dry, flavorless gyro and shelf-stable, mass purchased pita is unacceptable. The salad ingredients were quality, but the dressing was so watered down and flavorless. This was not the fault of a cook failing to do their job, this is just the caliber of food Great Greek is comfortable putting out. I really don’t understand, if this is the standard for Great Greek, how this place has become a national chain. Please save yourself a disappointing meal. Get more bang for your buck and way better food somewhere else.
