Love their sushi! Service is always good and wait staff is polite and attentive. Easy to get in without a reservation. 1 year ago. Elisabeth S.

The place has pretty good food if you can afford it & have a lot of patience. From going there several times in the past, in my opinion the place has a “waiting on tables” problem if nothing else. If you get a seat close to the bar you may get the Bartender as your waitress & she may possibly be so busy at the bar that you go unnoticed for a long time all the while the other employees (who are seating new customers & handling tables closer to the door)walk past your table in total ignore mode, over & over again. This happened to me and my wife on our last visit. The visit before that we had to hunt down our waitress to pay for our ticket & barely got any service beyond putting our food on the table for us. I gave them another shot but I won’t be back again because this must be common practice here.

30 of us celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday here last night. From reservations to the hostess welcoming us in, service, food, employees to atmosphere. It all was outstanding! I can’t say 1 single thing was off. Everyone enjoyed the evening and many said they would visit again. Thank you Great Bay for helping make the evening perfect for us!

This place has been a staple for a long while now. Always good food and pleasant service. I love sushi but don’t like to go all the way to downtown Greenville for quality sushi and great bay has it 🙂 it’s a small sushi list but their trade street roll is fire. I don’t think you could ever order anything here and say it wasn’t good. I do wish to go orders didn’t take so long to checkout but they do stay busy or that they had DoorDash so I could get it delivered. But this place is wonderful! Give it a try 🙂

Lets start with what was fanatic! The oysters!! OMG they were good. The spinach and artichoke drip was fantastic as well. Would definitely go back for the oysters and only those. Service was mid. In sure if the bartender just had too going on or my sister were ignored because we weren’t regulars. Twice someone else sitting at the bar had to tell the bartender to look our way because she wasn’t going to. I got the scallops the initial bite was good until i could taste was ammonia. Maybe I picked the wrong scallop but I wasn’t about to make myself sick to find out. I did love how when I told the bartender she smelled and then told me she tasted one and it had a bit of an aftertaste but they were fresh and just came in today. My sister got the fish n chips. It was good and my savior savior for the evening. We also hot the red dragon roll. I’ll stick to Sushi Murasaki for now when it come to rolls.

We really enjoyed our meal here! The oysters were delicious, and the battered fish was incredibly juicy. All the appetizers we ordered were very tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The oysters here were amazing i think the charbroiled was just a little better than the Rockefeller. Really enjoyed the crabcake and sushi. The service was great they were consistently checking on us. We watched basketball in the back room!

Came here as part of a GVL Dinner Club event. Cozy/casual atmosphere with large tables and space for groups in the back which was perfect for this. Can’t believe I hadn’t been here before now, but love that there is a place in Greer to get fresh oysters and yummy seafood at a good price without having to venture into downtown Greenville! Shrimp and grits was good, but I will definitely be trying the sushi they offer as well as the rest of the menu items I didn’t get to this time around in the future!

I can’t remember her name, but my bartender made me two grey old-fashiones. The oysters were good. I had the calamari as well, But the shrimp and grits was definitely the highlight of my night.

This was an amazing place. The service was great. They made you feel like family. Our group had oysters, calamari, sushi, smothered chicken, hamburger, parmesan fries, and 4 different kinds of dessert..and every bit of it was amazing. Katie was an awesome waitress who was on top of it. We never had to ask for refills and the service was very fast…. and it was a very busy Friday night… and let me not forget the prices were lower then I would have ever imagined. We will definitely be back.
