First time in Claxton, Georgia for a weekend. My first day I got about 20 wet lemon pepper wings with fries & ate every wing, EVERYTHING was on point , from the service to the atmosphere I came back atleast twice everyday throughout that weekend for those lemon pepper wings & fries. My last day on Sunday I had to try the turkey wings & the o tails & I wasn’t surprised at how good everything turned out. Check out the results

Decided to try The Greasy Spoon today in Claxton I had never been and wanted to try something different, I’m so glad I did! When I tell you that the vibe inside is so layed back it truly is a very inviting atmosphere, it’s set up kind of like a standard cafeteria style restaurant but very welcoming, very comfortable with out of this world customer service! The chairs are comfortable the tables are large and you just kind feel like you’re chilling at the house with no weirdness. Now the food: THE FOOD is very very good! When he said we got the best wing flavors in town I was like ok I’m ready to try this place out! He DID NOT disappoint! I had the greens macaroni and cheese and wings I had tried the bbq wings the garlic Parmesan and the firecracker wings, they were made to order and literally finger licking delicious!! The macaroni was very good just the right amount of cheese elbows were cooked perfectly and it was so moist with a lot of flavor! The greens were good as well I liked them with extra hot sauce. I would definitely recommend going to the Greasy Spoon to any and everybody if you want some down home style supper! I will definitely be back!!

The greasy spoon is definitely one of the best fast food/ soul food diner yet in Claxton! We eat there frequently, and each time we are very satisfied! Order your soul food, or the Buffalo wings with lemon pepper sprinkles! Thank me later.

Restaurant doesn’t even have a billboard to display. Doesn’t have the hours of service open. The sign said that the rating is an A. Don’t stop to waste your time. Drove from Richmond Hill, GA, just to be disappointed. The open sign was lit up, but it was not open. The door was locked. No one was inside.

I have eaten at the greasy spoon several times and it is always awesome. Their wings are really good and fresh. They have some excellent flavors to chose from. I have had mac and cheese, fried okra and greens and always good. If you have not yet tried them now is the time to enjoy some of the best wings in claxton.

Chicken wing are awesome. They could easily beat buffalo wild wings or pizza hot wings. I always go for the habanero or the parmesan ones.

It’s a little hard to spot this place from the road, but it was really good. I got a philly sub, fries, and collards and I was not disappointed. Sub was huge, fries were nicely cooked. Would recommend if you’re in the area. Look for the sign on the window.
