Kindness Costs Nothing
I will never understand how this place stays in business. I just don’t. I’ve never had worse Pizza in my entire life. I mean, we tried everything salt and pepper on it. Then we tried toppings on it then we tried the Sicilian every time. It’s just the worst pizza we’ve ever tasted in our entire life, which stinks because we live right next-door to it. Our usual pizza place was closed on a Monday so I decided just to try a turkey sub from there. In the whole sub, there is literally two pieces of sliced deli turkey on the entire sub so it’s all bread. How can they make an entire sub with two slices of turkey is beyond me I’m ridiculously upset. I wasted my money again, giving them the benefit of the doubt. How could they send food out of the restaurant with pride like this.

We originally went to The Grapevine Restaurant for LBI Restaurant Week, but once we saw the menu, we couldn’t resist ordering off the main menu—there were just too many amazing options.
Everything we had was outstanding. The Brussels sprouts were incredible, the Manhattan clam chowder was absolutely to die for, and both the chicken gnocchi and prime rib were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Drinks, desserts—honestly, there wasn’t a single miss.
The service truly took the experience to another level. Elijah, our server, was a solid 10/10—great energy, super knowledgeable, and genuinely fun, which made the night even better. Robin, the manager, is also an absolute gem and clearly cares about both the food and the guest experience.
If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t be upset—this spot is a total win. ️

Sent back the $32 plus scallops with Asparagus. Scallops were so tough and chewy. Asparagus was woody. Had the clams casino at the bar, cook never cleaned out the clam. Just threw filler on top and barely baked it. Also tried the “steamer” clams. 12 came for around $14. Sandy and not worth the price. See pic of scallops. Not worth price. Will never be back.
Another note. When I got there at first there was a black guy that seemed to keep going back into the kitchen chirping about food and politics with a female worker in black shirt and another female in white top and jeans that seemed to be a worker. Black guy kept leaving his stuff on the bar top and running chirping at others. The politics coming from the two girls by the hostess stand were not needed at all. People just go into a restaurant to chill. We don’t need children like that chirping.

Had a literal last minute baby shower there today and everything came out so much better than expected. Mike and the ladies who worked it went above and beyond all of our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend them to anyone for a party or even just a week night pizza. Thank you all!!

This is my “Cheers” place. Where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came. Love the barstaff, Julie and Crissy. Food is great! Drinks are on point and they even hand stuff blue cheese olives. They have lunch and happy hour specials and live bands too. The crowd are older and some can be territorial just ignore them.

Although the place is nice and bathrooms are clean the food left a great deal to be desired. We were a large party of 50 plus. The waitress did a great job keeping up with all the people. There were 3 meal options for the repass. The roast beef was just cold cuts on the plate with mashed potatoes. Lumpy potatoes and if an open face how about a slice of bread under the beef? The chicken franchise sauce was very watery and the pasta was way over cooked. I will not return! I can’t comment on the eggplant parm as I did not try it. Although I am sure the pasta was the same crap I had.

New Year’s Eve 2025 my wife and I went for a early dinner at a restaurant that we have been too many times. The prices were basically inflated as were all other restaurants on New Year’s Eve. The service wasn’t the greatest and had to ask for a waitress. The food was excellent like it always is when we go to this establishment. The biggest problem which would make me think twice before going back on New Year’s or any special holiday is that the dinner did not include a salad which really ruined the whole night before it even started. With dinners being between 30 and 50 dollars a salad is given at all restaurant. Matter of fact this restaurant gives you a salad even with their weekly evening specials. I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 20 years but the new owners are cutting corners that will cost them lost customers and money in the future. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes . I gave them 4 stars on food because of the lack of a salad and not because of the food.
