Great bar with exceptional service. The bartenders were both very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the drinks they offered. We found this place online when searching for great bars with yummy cocktails and to say the least they didn’t disappoint. I had a few Bourbon Old fashions that were made with muddled blue berries and they were absolutely delicious. My wife had a few various cocktails and she was happy with them all as well. We tried our luck at the gambling machines and even won a few bucks before leaving. The atmosphere was casual and laid back and we loved our time there.

What an AWESOME VIBE!!!! The place is on point in every way! Speaking from someone in the industry these are some of the best cocktails I have seen in a long time! The bartenders were very friendly! Not only making sure our drinks were full but even watching our belongings as we stepped outside! The music was perfect! Appeasing to a large demographic of costumers of all ages! We did have any have any food but everything that came past us looked wonderful! We will definitely be back next visit!

I have been to the Grape Escape for special events and times when no special events were happening. I have had a great experience every time. The staff treated me like family. It is a place where you can cut loose and have fun or just sit back and relax. The food was tasty and I was impressed with the variety of drink options (both alcoholic and non- alcoholic).

The food was excellent and service was fast. We enjoyed the margarita pizza and bruschetta. The live music was great, covering classic rock songs. The atmosphere was nice.

All top notch — both the service and the quality were excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and really enjoy the charm of downtown Galena while taking your time and soaking in the experience. Everything felt welcoming, comfortable, and well put together. If you’re spending the day exploring, this is a great stop to add to your visit. Be sure to make time for The Grape Escape the next time you’re meandering through Galena — it’s absolutely worth it and adds something special to the whole downtown experience.

Visiting Galena for the first time, and The Grape Escape was recommended. We stopped in later at night as we heard there was going to be a live band. Searchlight Soul was the band playing 90’s grunge music. They were great. Drinks were tasty and the service despite being busy was on point. Stop in here if you’re looking for some good drinks, live music, and fun atmosphere.

Always a great experience. Truffle martini is my best friends favorite on every visit. Prices are completely reasonable. Highly recommend ordering food from the Taproom while you’re there. Live music creates a very chill vibe. A must stop location in Galena.
