5 Stars for the View and Atmosphere!
That’s really what you’re paying for here. The service from our waitress was good, but getting to our seats wasn’t the best experience.

My dad made a 6 PM reservation the night before through their website. We arrived about 20 minutes early and figured we’d grab a drink at the bar. The host at the front, a guy, kind of had this attitude like it was a busy place and there wasn’t much he could do for us, since he could not find the reservation, it felt like he just wanted to get us to the bar and move on. My dad asked him to check under his name, but he said he didn’t see anything, and then he literally helped the next group who walked in, showing them to their seats right in front of us. A little later, another lady looked it up and actually found the reservation, it had just been marked as already seated.

The food overall was good. I tried the ribs, which were great, and my pasta was flavorful. However, I added steak for an extra $12, and it came out extremely dry, like random chopped pieces tossed on top. The presentation wasn’t great, and the steak was tough to cut. It still tasted fine mixed in, but definitely not worth the extra charge.

Came for the view, stayed for the food.
My ribeye was a bit under cooked, but I can remedy that in the future.
The fingerling potatoes were very good.

The wait staff was pleasant, efficient and friendly.

Spectacular views of downtown, the river and Steelers stadium. The food was okay. I had the steak and it would of tasted great if there were a sauce that came with it. The calamari was excellent.

Wonderful service, food and amazing views. We have a team dinner after a corporate event and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend. Food was delicious, views were simply stunning with the city scape changing every few minutes as the sun went lower and lower changing reflections and colors.
Our team arrived and stayed a little late and the staff were extremely patient, friendly and professional ( Rich and Kate) provided great service and hospitality!

With any establishment I hate to say the food is bad, but across the board it really was so plain and tasteless. I got the BBQ & Garlic Parm wings- super bland. My mama got the Grilled Chicken Breast with Mashed Sweet Potatoes, and she said they were both bland and disappointing. She got Honey Mustard to try to jazz it up, but even the Honey Mustard was eh. My dad got the Ribs and Garlic Mashed Potaotes- he didn’t like either.

Also, I originally was getting the Pulled Pork Nachos, but they were supposed to come with queso, but the kitchen decided to not tell my waitress that they were out of queso. Instead, they made them and then told her as she was picking them up to bring them out. So I had to reorder, and that’s when I got the chicken wings.
Our waitress Layla was great, btw! Such a kind, considerate lady.

I got a free slice of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for my birthday, too! And no complaining at all- just informing- it was also very very bland.

BUT, the view was nice! It was BEAUTIFUL. I thoroughly enjoyed that the entire time. And then we went up to the top deck to enjoy it some more.

The view that surrounds The Grandview Saloon is breathtaking. My food was excellent, Donna and Stella were great hosts. Great place to come and sip on something strong to fight off the cold. So thankful for the tremendous hospitality by everyone. Great staff! I plan to be back on a nice warmer day. If you haven’t been here, it’s a must! Do yourself a favor and take in the sights of this beautiful city. And enjoy a delicious meal!

The food is so tasty! The buffalo cauliflower bites and the steak tacos are highly recommended.
The service was great—Mike did a great job!
Atmosphere – where this place really shined. Like its namesake, the views of the city are high-quality.
Would definitely eat here again.

I loved my experience at the Grandview Saloon! I had my rehearsal dinner there for my wedding and the view was gorgeous, especially for my out of town guests. Food was good as well! We had a great time! I’ve also been there for the occasional dinner and I love their burgers, cauliflower bites, and the wings! So delish! We will be back.

Haven’t been there recently, but visited in 2018 while in Pittsburgh for a John Prine concert. We stumbled upon this place after a sightseeing ride up the Dusquene Incline – it’s right down the street. The wings were sublime!!! And the view of the city was fantastic. We lingered quite a while after lunch enjoying the setting. We started on the patio, but the summer sun was too much, and our server was happy to move us into the spacious cool dining area beside a huge picture window overlooking the river and the city. The Pickle Fest was going on too that weekend. So much to see out the window. And the concert that night at the Heinz Hall… well – John Prine never disappoints. It was wonderful.
