Solid local spot, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. The menu has all the classic diner staples, and the portions are fair for the price. The food was decent, not amazing, not bad just your standard comfort meal.
Service was friendly and quick, but one thing I didn’t love was the strong chemical smell coming from the bathroom area. If you’re seated at the tables nearby, you’ll definitely notice it, which takes away from the otherwise cozy vibe.
Overall, it’s an okay stop if you’re in the area and craving diner food, but it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast experience. The portions were certainly generous, exceeding our expectations. We would particularly recommend trying the omelets, as they were quite delicious. One minor observation was that the dining area felt a bit chilly whenever the door was opened. Overall, it was a very pleasant meal.

Today my wife and I came here for the first time since it was still called Don’s of Traverse City. Very good service. Very professional and friendly. Great food. I asked for a chili cheese burger, which they kindly accommodated me with (Thank you very much) and my wife took advantage of their $1.99 coneys on Tuesdays with chili cheese fries. We also got their MONSTROUS sized chocolate milkshakes to which the quality matched the quantity. Very good all the way around. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much again

A great way to go back in time and enjoy some wholesome dining . The atmosphere is a fun one and definitely worth the time to stop by for a nice meal, any time of day.
It’s very clean and the staff is fantastic! It is small so they easily and promptly pick up on your needs. Need some more napkins, you are covered or running low on water, you are covered. This time we stopped in for Slim Jim’s. Now I have had them in other places. I’d describe it more rustic, hand carved ham, large sliced tomato. The bun was not squished. Over all a great sandwich.
You can find a great variety from breakfast to dinner. The chocolate shakes looked amazing.
The staff is what a restaurant should be. Very kind and and friendly.
It was my first time there but will not be my last.

The guys know how to cook a good breakfast! Didn’t have a chance to try anything else but its rare that I find a place that cooks corned beef and hash perfectly well done, they succeeded. Our waitress was fantastic, can’t remember her name, a blonde lady who is super cool and also REALLY good at her job. We didnt have to ask for nothing she was on IT. Seemed like they had a lot of regulars and I can see why.
