This is Paris’ hidden gem. Doesn’t look like much from outside but it’s a spot for a drink and a tasty bite. Inside is bit outdated, but clean and spacious with lots of place to sit. Servers are friendly. Food gets served fast. We tried few different options on the menu in the past. Their two soups taste awesome. Should be bit bigger for the price and served with a small slice of garlic bread though. Cesar salad is fresh and delicious. Wings are definitely worth trying especially the platter option. Wings are fair sized, well done and saucy. Way it should be. Vegetables are fresh and fries are crispy. Today we got take out. Unfortunately we didn’t even make it out of the parking lot …we had to try the food. It was good as always.

Was actually very disappointed. I’ve been here 2 or 3 times. None have been enough to write home about. This visit my food was served in a chipped bowl with spotted silverware to boot. ( With so few customers you’d think you could simply could have selected a nice bowl but I guess that was too hard for you to manage… )

The portions were quite small for what you’re paying and they had a Very limited drink selection. Hardly any variety for anything canned or bottled.. I asked for a cocktail off the menu, and they didn’t even have the ingredients for it… The food I ordered was a lot different then what I was expecting too… Mac n Cheese is normally yellow, with you know… CHEESE, and potentially bread crumbs on top…. This one came entirely white, with hardly any cheese, no crispy top, and under cooked.

I don’t care if u remember who I am or not… But I came here for my Birthday and left entirely disappointed.

I will choose to never come back.

My daughter and I went here for the first time last night. Food was amazing! The pizza is absolutely incredible! Also their coleslaw is Delicious!
The only small downfall is they do not have a drink menu, the waitress said they had coolers that are in a can. I’m not a cooler type person. So she asked a gentleman behind the bar to make me some type of cocktail and it was delicious.
I really think a drink menu would make this place unforgettable!

UPDATE: The Grand Bayou Cajun Kitchen remains to be a local favorite. The best take out Pizza option in town. Service was quick and friendly. Food was to our satisfaction as always. 5 stars well earned. A local must. Support local. Enjoy!

PREVIOUS: The Grand Bayou Cajun Kitchen is one of the best local pizza options for take-out. Our family often orders pizza and wings from here because it is always hot, meets our expectations, and is reasonably priced. This is a must try. Support local. Enjoy!

After many recommendations to try the pizza at the Grand Bayou, I did.

Our server (Christina) was very good, and promptly took our orders.

The pizzas were quite good, and as you can see in the pictures, there is no skimping on the toppings

If you are in town, give the Bayou a try. The menu is pretty extensive. Far beyond just pizza, there is certainly something here for everyone.

Check out my Google reviews. Almost 10,700,000 views.

Great pizza! Best in Paris. Perfect amount of cheese, not too much sauce, crust was crispy and airy, the pepperoni is amazing in flavour and the price is great for what you get! great job definitely 10/10

The food was absolutely amazing. Best onion rings I’ve had in a long time. The only reason this place isn’t as packed as other restaurants in downtown Paris, is because it’s up the hill and not as close to the water. A hidden gem, if you’re not local.

Stopped in here for lunch the other day with our younger kiddos. I had the gumbo for a starter (was different than what im used to, alot thicker, but quite tastey). My gf had the Cajun chowder (just a plain ol bland clam chowder).
For mains, I had the Cajun shrimp po-boy wasnt bad, but shrimp was overcooked and bun was meh, otherwise tasted decent. My gf had the Cajun Mac n Cheese (was a sorta plain cheese sauce, cajun garnish was tastey). Also ordered a pizza, it was pretty good, decent amount of toppings, little soggy in the middle, but otherwise not bad.
Service was very friendly and helpful.

The food that comes out of this closet of a kitchen never disappoints. And out of our pizza places of a town here they know how to make a pizza with real mozzarella. We always get thin crust
