Had a delicious NYE dinner there this year. Our go-to, Deep Blue at Kitty Knight was closed and we ended up here to be on the water to close out the year. Service was spot-on, drinks delicious and our meals was first-rate. My Jambalaya, featuring a perfectly prepare filet of blackened catfish was just what I was looking for.

The views were beautiful, my fiancé and I got there just before sunset. I ordered the 12oz sirloin which was smothered in a red wine sauce and mushrooms and was exquisite. The vegetable medley was flavorful along with the mashed potatoes which created the perfect duo. I would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be visiting again.

It’s a totally different experience in the winter. We come here a lot during the summer while we are boating and it is usually packed. In the winter not so much. Either season the food and staff are great.

I would have given negative stars if I could have. This is are second time here we thought we would give it another try bc we thought we ordered wrong last time. Nope the food is that bad. It’s all looked great but no taste. We got mussels, clams and scallops. Scallops were good. The mussles and clams were not good. I got the Burger came with lettuce, tomato and red onions and fries. Fries were good. My husband got the crab cake. It was uneditable no taste what so ever. This location will not be open long and the Chester town location closed already..this place is off the list for good. Oh and the hightoo table chair made the back of my legs black because It was dirty. Horrible

Md. The Granary sits on the Sassafras River & you have an awesome view from any seat in the restaurant or bar. The service is outstanding & the food is the very definition of delicious!!! The staff are all very friendly &
helpful. The restaurant is good for all ages. The restaurant is also very spacious. For a handicapped person the walk up the concrete ramp to the front door is not an easy one. However, they do have handicap parking at the bottom of the ramp. You can also be dropped off at the top of the ramp.
My partner & I both ordered the same thing.
We had halibut with lump crabmeat in a butter sauce. It came with wild rice & carrots.
Everything was amazing!!! Then we ordered dessert. I got apple crisp, & my partner got key lime pie. They were both to die for!!! Their
dinners are moderately priced and are worth every penny!!!

We have been several times over the years and we have always had an excellent meal with very good service!
We recently went ( August) for a cozy post wedding reception/meal in a private back room that looking out over the water and we watching the sunset…it was perfect! Again the entrees were served hot & delicious.
Beautiful views, nice menu selection, good prices, live music downstairs later in the evening…i definately recommend this place

The only good thing about this place is the view. Two star restaurant at best. We ordered the drunken muscles as an app, and it came out ice cold, and was returned. Our meal then came crab cake was hot but sides were again ice cold, and returned. The waitress Bianca was awesome and she brought us out another order of sides that was supposed to be hot but once again came out cold. I was told the manager was coming to the table, even though I didn’t request it. He came by with the worst attitude. You can absolutely have as a manager in a food establishment. Instead of being apologetic for the mistake, they’ve done three times in one sitting he continued to be nasty with a demeanor like how dare I complain? After I pointed out that his attitude was absolutely disgusting. He said I’m not the manager. I’m the owner.. How embarrassing! You should have seen the workers faces as he was talking to me . None of them looked happy at all. I’ve ran several five star restaurants and I could promise you this is not the way that you act towards your customers as an owner if you are in the wrong. If you want below, mediocre Overpriced food, Come here. But do yourself a favor if you’re looking for a great experience all around, save your money and go somewhere similar. Your view does not make your restaurant. You suck and if it wasn’t for your view, you would’ve been out of business long ago. Shame on you.

We had the best chicken flatbread as an appetizer. Delicious! Beet salad excellent! Drinks were very good. Chicken salad sandwiche was huge and delicious. Monte Cristo sandwich was ok. Our service in the bar area was very good. Beautiful view of marina and river.

The view is 5 star. Food was horrible, we ordered wings and a crabcake sandwich. The crabcake sandwich was 1/2 the size of the roll and it tasted fishy. The wings were ok.
