Wine and pizza are always amazing every time we’ve found ourselves back introducing this place to new friends. Even on a Friday night, they were able to seat a group of 7 immediately. Figgy Blue, Buffalo Chicken, and the Italian were hits! All pizza can be in gluten free as well!
The crew is always so sweet and attentive. During the summer, they have an outside patio.
My daughter had the grilled Caesar salad which was good and works have been great with just a tad more dressing. The crispy ravioli was very good.
I would skip the garden salad unless they replace the iceberg lettuce with actual spring mix.
will go back for sure.
We started with their fried pickles and peppers, which I thought were good. Could have been a little crispier, but good. And although I hate that $10 apps are standard these days, I have to say that I felt satisfied with the amount of pickles and peppers we got. I went with their Kentucky Cheesesteak. The bun was a little big for the amount of meat I got (or rather, the amount of meat was a little small for the bun I got) so that was underwhelming, but the beer cheese sauce was fantastic. Their breaded fries were also very very good. My date got their Buffalo Chicken Pizza and I thought it was delicious. The crust was immaculate and the cheese was melted just right. My two complaints are that 1) it was not cut. My date said it “had the idea of being cut”, but we ended up having to cut it with a knife which was annoying. And 2) we asked to sub the bleu cheese for jalapenos as we were charged extra for that. That doesn’t make sense to me because jalapenos are dirt cheap compared to bleu cheese, but if that is just a restaurant policy, I just would have liked to be made aware that we would be charged extra. We said, “can we sub the bleu cheese for jalapenos” and the waitress said “of course”. I feel like the reasonable assumption there is that that substitution would be free. It was only an extra $1.50, but in principle I wish I would have known. To be clear, these two complaints don’t take away the fact that the pizza was amazing.
Overall, I was satisfied. I would definitely come back for the pizza or maybe the beer cheese.
Also, family friendly and not too expensive.
