To start, I believe the place has been open for a few days. They are still definitely figuring out the kinks. Decor is pretty sad. I’m not certain why they decided on the golden swan for their name but there are basically just a couple swan pictures hung up haphazardly throughout. The back room has no AC and we heard lots of people walking through very vocal about how hot it was. Our room was tolerable but somewhat warm. Appetizer bread could use improvement. Lobster ravioli was small (6 ravioli). Chicken parm was basic but lacking seasoning. I would compare this to a bare bones diner. Food took 40 minutes to come out but the place was packed (Friday night). Quite a few things to improve over time.

Food:
The bread was basically just a sliced French loaf. It was not toasted or anything. Pass on the bread.
The appetizer of mozzarella sticks was $8.99 for 4 sticks. They came out with the food even after we asked for them to come out as an appetizer. They were fine for taste but this was a bad value.
The pasta was bland and lacking seasoning. The shrimp in the pasta were inedible because they did not taste like they had been cleaned. They tasted terrible and were not seasoned at all. The pasta noodles were fine. The sauce was unseasoned.
Atmosphere:
It is great that the owners found a use for the old Y drive in. The walls were painted cement block. There were a few random photos hung up.
Overall— it is food. I would not eat here again.

Upon entering into the well-lit dining area, kitchen ventilation issues were apparent. Frying oil was a constant heavy smell – I am sensitive in general, but it was almost dizzying to me after a while.
The appetizer was a mellow experience.
Bread and unseasoned heavy olive oil with a couple of drops of balsamic vinegar were provided after ordering.
Mozzarella stick breading was also not seasoned (baked?), but the marinara was very good and I feel it made up for the lack of seasoning. I feel it was overall a good choice for low-salt options.
The fettuccine Alfredo meals were also pretty mellow and a good beginning and appeared baked, but reminded me of a frozen meal recipe.
The sauce was basic, the noodles tender.
Shrimp was fantastic.
Vegetables cooked well.
No mushrooms available.
Portion size: ready to feed the hungry.
The constant banging in the kitchen was distracting.
Tdlr:
Worthy of a casual return.
Kaylee was super nice and attentive!

The bread with vinegar oil wasn’t even edible. I ordered the chicken parm, not sure how you mess that up but it consisted of a small portion of bland and overpriced blah thrown on overcooked pasta. Kids wouldn’t even finish their meals and other adults said theirs was tasteless and overpriced blah thrown cooked too. Went once, will not suffer through that bill again, rather eat something from a can and at least taste something that’s reasonably priced for portion size.

Got the lasagna special. It was horrible. It lacked the proper seasoning. It was a very small portion and the meat in it was anything short of just plain ol’ mystery meat. The bread that was brought out was extremely stale and not toasted. The butter olive oil that was brought out tasted old and could not be ate. If I could give this place no stars I would. I do not recommend.

Food was great. Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious as well as the jalapeño lime pasta with chicken. I wish there was more jalapeño flavor. I honestly didn’t taste any but it was still really good. I would come back. I think pricing is a bit high, mainly on the add ons. Bring those down $1 or so. Service was quick. We were in and out in 30 min. Food proportions looked small at first but in reality the plates are huge. Filled both of us up.

The food was very good I had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. Next time I’ll get the Italian sausage. My friend got that and it was excellent.
