Happened upon this place when we had a couple events in one day near the Koger and colonial center. They have their own parking which is huge for this area! I ordered the citrus glazed salmon and it was TO DIE FOR! Literally, the flavor combo was the best and most unique dish I’ve had at a restaurant in awhile! Everyone else enjoyed what they got as well. We will definitely be back!

Went here for the 1st time on Thursday November 6th 2025 with my Aunt and Mom, as we needed a bite to eat before seeing The Jonas Brothers at colonial Life Arena that night. Luckily, this restaurant is within walking distance of Colonial Life, and is literally right across the street. We were greeted by a host, who almost sat us outside, but then we were able to get a high top table. Our server greeted us right away and served us waters. The Menu basically had lots of sandwiches and burgers, but sure is enough to get filled up.They also have some salads and some fish options. First we started with Quesadillas as an appetizer. Then for entrees I got a hamburger M with sweet potato fries, My aunt got a chicken caesar salad, and my mom got a chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out in a timely manner. I enjoyed the appetizer and my burger as well as fries. Waitress did a good job checking on us and refilling our waters. We got the check right away, and paid with a credit card, and left a cash tip. Would definitely come again if we are in the area.

The food is delicious. I would recommend almost anything on the menu. The Cajun Pasta is delicious and has just the right amount of spice. Cheese fries are amazing as well. Service is always great!

Food was very good! Had nice specials for happy hour. Our server seemed new, so she struggled a little, but was very polite. Great atmosphere.

I quite enjoyed the Golden Spur. The food was delicious. I had the street Tacos and this enormous bacon burger. I recommend 100%. The vibe was a mix of pizzeria meets upscale bar. The service was fast. You get to watch some of the orders being made in the semi-open kitchen. There’s a full bar. The location is across the street from Colonial Life Arena. My only issue was the restroom. Though clean, the first stall was so small that there was no room between the toilet and the door when open. I literally had to step over the toilet to get out. That is wild The door needs to open outward instead.

Pre-game Brunch at The Golden Spur was exactly what we needed on this freezing Sunday morning. Brunch buffet had a great variety of options, you can’t leave hungry. Worth every dime. The The general manager was very intentional and our server Sauc was the best. Despite the full dining room Sauc was very attentive. Highly recommend

Had a family brunch at the Golden Spur and it was outstanding. Chef Ryan, of 116 Wine and Espresso fame, knows how to put out a varied and tasty brunch spread.
Made to order eggs, they are there, pancakes or waffles, there also, shrimp & grits, they have it.
Elegant but casual atmosphere with attentive servers. John at the bar makes a mean cocktail. Go, enjoy, you will be impressed.
Plenty of dedicated parking in the lot at the corner of Greene & Park streets across from the Darla Moore Business School.

Amazing experience! Me and my mom went for lunch and couldn’t have asked for a better meal. I ordered the grilled chicken and bacon quesadilla and it was terrific! Excellent service and very clean. We waited not even 15 mins for our food. Definitely would recommend other people to go.

Aaliyah and Angie were our attentive servers during a Sunday brunch buffet, and there is really something for everyone at this classy buffet style brunch. Lots of fresh assorted pastries, and Southern comfort foods, but healthy options as well. Meaning you can get fresh biscuits & gravy, chicken & waffles, as well as plenty of vegetarian options.
Tim is the GM and it was very evident he wants the customers to have an outstanding meal and experience. This is truly my favorite brunch in Columbia by a large margin. The price point is great as well, being that it is just high enough to be a value, but not be a “Golden Corral” population. So it’s very tasteful, and my wife and I will bring family and friends here in the future as the offerings change weekly. While I rarely drink, if I did then I would be impressed by their ambitious selection of unique cocktails, or variations of your favorites.
Enjoy!
