The wait staff was nice the place was clean despite what most reviews I have looked at said. It was also very slow in I went in so maybe I just got lucky. The food wasn’t very good nor were the prices. However it held an aura of a small Ma And Pa place which was nice and the only reason it got 3 and not 2 stars.

Food quality and quantity is beyond excellent and very affordable! I got the Hamburger Steak with Potato Wedges and Onion Rings and a piece of chocolate pie for dessert, my wife got the Fried Chicken dinner with Mac and Cheese and Green Beans and vanilla ice cream for dessert! Both of us left very satisfied and us being from Spout Spring it was worth the ride and every penny! Our waitress was very accommodating, friendly and provided great service! This was our 1st time eating here in a very long time bit we will definitely be back very very soon!

This place has good food! I love the hamburger steak with gravy! Yum Yum! The chicken is great. I haven’t eaten the pizza but I always see many people doing pizza carryout. Under normal circumstances without the Corona, this restaurant also offers a buffet with excellent choices. Hopefully soon the buffet will be back! Service is good and sufficiently clean. If you see any cake as a dessert, get it! You will not be disappointed. I will mention that the last time my family ate fish it wasn’t quite up to par thus the 4 star; they said it tasted too greasy. I’m not a fish fan so I can’t personally comment on the taste. Overall I’m very satisfied with the Skillet!

Food was very good! I took the family after a long drive and found them by accident and decided to eat in. The wait staff was very helpful and kind to us. I ordered the flounder dinner and the fish was cooked perfectly..my husband ordered the whiting fish and he loved it..and our daughter wanted shrimp… good mashed potatoes weren’t yummy but they have everything else going for them. Then you can top it off with a Huge slice of cake they have at the counter.. 1 piece to share or try to eat one all by yourself but I wasn’t that brave. Will return next time I am in the area.

Ate here twice. Once for lunch an once for dinner. Dinner we waited a while for our food. But was worth the wait. Food was excellent. We stopped and ate lunch an service was much faster. Also food didn’t disappoint. You get what you pay for. Good job guys.

Today was the first time I ate there. It was quite not to busy. I did notice that two tables ordered chicken after we placed our order and they got theirs first. One lady asked for fresher chicken. The mac-n-cheese was not good tho.

Wait staff were friendly and accommodating but the food on the buffet was lacking. Spaghetti noodles were not cooked long enough to break apart from one another and the sauce was too sweet. Salad bar needed the dressing replenished but the veggies were fine.

The French toast was nasty but the fried chicken and biscuits were awesome..waitress was very nice and helpful but one staff member was sorta rude talking about how its stupid people are coming to eat during covid and when im assuming the manager would say something to her she would threaten to quit.
