Social Profile:

The Hudson Valley’s first craft beer bar! Our burgers and wings are legendary and, yes, we ARE the bar featured in Super Troopers! Friendly and welcoming regulars, as well as first time guests find our English style pub inviting! “Our taps change weekly, not weakly”… is not just a catchy phrase. We have hard-to-find brews, as well as your everyday macros, and a full bar. We have 3 dart boards, a pool table, Golden Tee Golf, multiple flat screens TV’s, and a 12’ HD Projection TV. Our front patio becomes covered with a seasonal hop canopy and has multiple propane heaters during the inclement weather, and our spacious back yard welcomes corn hole contests, weather permitting.

Neighborhood tap & a former tollhouse serving a long list of draft & bottled craft beers.

Yes! Tricky to find bars now with darts or pool and they have everything!! The wings were incredible, huge onion rings and when we came back we tried the cheesesteak quesadilla – it was delicious!! 3 dart boards, pool table on the higher floor, a bunch of board games and an adorable tiny corn hole you can play. Came back for trivia and that was a blast!
Pleasant and fun atmosphere and good bartenders

A friend recommended me this place. This place is definately in the cut, and not usally a place I would go to. I was told the wings are very good here, so I had to try it out for myself since I was in the area. They are not the best wings, but they are good. I recommend going through Happy Hour when the drinks, and wings are cheaper. Not a beer drinker, but because they are an Ale House, I did try the Juice Bomb Sloop. They sell alot of IPA beers which is stronger with a higher alchohol content than a regular beer. When I went on a Monday, they were on had the deep fryer open to serve wings only. I wasn’t able to sample other food items. Monday’s are typically slow. My favorite is the Cucumber Wasabi dipping wings. You can actually taste the cucumber in the dipping sauce. I loved it. I also enjoyed the Old Man In The Sea Dry rub wings, Happy Hour wings & The Garlic Parmesagn Wings.

Very rude owners were harassing little kids for riding their bikes in the parking lot. Kids weren’t bothering anyone and the place wasn’t even open yet.
Woman owner was screaming like a lunatic at little kids. Male owner came out trying to fight with them.
These heaps of garbage don’t deserve your money!

Great food and staff! Eddie is the best bartender and readily available. He told us all about the history of the place. Tom the owner, is wonderful also. It was a great experience with a relaxing vibe.

We showed up at 10:30 at night and it must have been obvious that we are not locals. One of the customers immediately pointed at us and said, “I’m buying the first round for those two!”
The bartender was knowledgeable about the beers on tap and was able to direct us to some good New York micros. He was super friendly, just like everyone else in the bar. It was karaoke night and the music was fun even if not all the singing was fantastic.

Unexpectedly fantastic spot. We loved the back yard setup and the fast kitchen. The menu was standard bar food at very solid prices. The beer menu changes frequently and they have 12 or so options on tap along with plenty of bottles. We stopped in at 7 on a Sunday, so I am not sure what the day crowd is like or whether the ale house gets very busy Saturday – this looks like THE neighborhood bar so I imagine it gets pretty busy especially during non-corona times.

I went there for the first time two weeks ago and I’ve been daydreaming about the wings since. Check my waistline, I know my way around a meal. Legit some of the best wings I’ve ever had, the burger was straight solid, and it was one of the cheapest meals I’ve been to in years maybe decades (I went during happy hour so normal pricing might be what you would expect). Going back tomorrow and I can’t wait.
