Had an awesome experience at Golden Hour. The staff was genuinely amazing — Alex in particular was great and made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. We ordered the pierogies and they were absolutely delicious, easily a standout. On top of that, they have a really generous selection of beers, so there’s plenty to choose from no matter what you’re into. Great food, great drinks, and even better service. We’ll definitely be back.

So happy there’s a perogie spot in Savannah now!! All of the food was amazing, the owner is super friendly & there’s a cozy atmosphere! Love the music & movies they were playing too. There’s also a parking lot which is super convenient for the area! Highly recommend

Update: Went back now that it’s fully up and running. Blown away by the good once again. Everything was so good, and now even better there’s alcohol.

Rome’s just soft opened, it has great bones, some small growing pains. The food was AMAZING. To die for pierogis (we ate them too fast for a picture). Pizza on Tuesdays hot, fresh, delicious. A+ sandwich’s. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Jerome is doing an awesome job. Can’t wait to see this place become a staple of Savannah.

Golden Hour was a vibe!! Alex was the bartender and owner and made our bachelorette weekend. When we got to the Golden hour he was very welcoming, and let our bachelorette party group take over the music and DJ which was soo much fun. Great drinks, great atmosphere 10/10 go

I was really excited to try this place but I left feeling… underwhelmed. The staff was friendly enough. The menu options were limited, but we can be flexible. We ordered the pirogies since they are mentioned a lot in the reviews, but we found them to be a bit flavorless and greasy. We ordered a chicken parm sandwich and it was okay. Needed more cheese or sauce or both. The fries were pretty good! The prices were fair, which is what drew us to the place initially. But I didn’t feel like the experience aligned with the 4.7 star rating on Google.

Diamond in the Rough.
We stayed in an Airbnb down the block, got a little hungry, stumbled upon this restaurant. They have an incredible spirit collection.
G4 Tequila, Malort, Wathen’s, High West, and the usual suspects. But not what you’d think to find in a a little Filipino inspired restaurant.
Mike was behind the bar and was incredibly knowledgeable and fun.
We ordered half the menu. Chicken skewers. Burger. Lumpia. Pierogis. Pancit fries. Loved it all. Even ordered extra skewers.
Visiting Savannah was awesome, but we paid a return trip on our last night because we loved this place so much.
We highly recommend checking this place out. It’s only been open a few months and There is plenty of lit, free parking.
One of the best highlights of the trip.

I had a great experience here. The bartender was superb — attentive, friendly, and made the night really enjoyable. I believe his name was Michael (apologies if I’m mistaken), but he truly did an outstanding job.

Jerome! It was so nice meeting you. I felt somehow immediately welcomed and comfortable… to the point I almost walked out without paying
Friendly, down to earth service and I indeed loved that meatball grinder!

I will definitely be back for the chicken parm and that Detroit pizza!!

Great old school Savannah bar and grill.. we’ve lost this type of place às bougie has replace fun in this town over the years… we’ve become a victim of our own success.. So I’m glad to see a true neighborhood bar making a comeback here

Great little local bar with good food, good service, and great patrons. First Friday bike night is held here, and I could think of no better location in Savannah. The drinks and the food are reasonably priced and taste good. It’s always a good time at Romes.
