Golden Girl Rum Club is one of those places you instantly want to stay awhile. The cozy atmosphere paired with great music makes it the perfect spot to unwind. The drinks are always well made, the bartenders are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. Best of all, the prices are affordable without sacrificing quality. A true neighborhood gem that keeps me coming back every time.

I did not eat here so I cannot rate the food, but the drinks are great. The atmosphere is fun, even in cooler weather when the wall is shut, closing off the outdoor seating. The bathrooms are especially fun, and if you’re looking for a healthy rum selection, this is the spot. I would bet that no other bar in the city has as much rum to choose from!

During Halloween, I visited this place and loved the halloween atmosphere. The service was excellent and I enjoyed my cocktail. I haven’t had the chance to try their food, but I definitely plan on going back. It’s also a great spot to hang out with your girlfriends!

Wow the rum drinks are amazing. The drinks are spendy, but as strong as the strength rating says, so be careful! Their Hurricane and the Monkey’s Paw are great. Make sure that you check out the bathrooms, seriously… They have a whole vibe and we loved them. We were able to sit out on their lovely patio.

Drinks were great. Service was slow. Doesn’t have the decor, vibe, escapism, or music of a tiki bar but the drinks are top notch. We sat at the bar but the drinks are mainly assembled on the back bar and no consideration is given to interacting with customers at the bar or building drinks in an interesting fashion.

My friends and I came here after going to another bar in town. We were after good drinks and some Christmas vibes. The staff here was incredible and the food and drinks were amazing! We got a vegan mushroom pizza and it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. Skip the other places in town. This is the place.

I’ve been holding off on writing this because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t overreacting. But after multiple visits — and especially after this past weekend — I feel like it needs to be said.
Every single time I’ve come into Golden Girl, I’ve seen the same bartender absolutely slammed — and yet somehow still smiling. This weekend was no different. The bar was packed, tickets were stacking up, and she was moving nonstop. I finally asked her what her name was, and she told me it was Tea.
Tea is handling the entire bar with grace, speed, and professionalism. On one visit, I watched her work a completely insane shift alone — no servers, no backup, just her running the entire floor. And she killed it. Drinks were flowing, guests were taken care of, and the energy never dropped. From what I could tell, she likely closed and cleaned the entire bar by herself too.
It’s impressive — but it’s also concerning. Where is the other bartender? What’s going on with management that allows one person to take on multiple solo shifts like that?
Most people would have walked out mid-shift under that kind of pressure. Tea didn’t. She showed up, held it down, and did it with kindness.
She deserves recognition. And she deserves support

Love this place. Drinks are delicious, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The whole tropical vibe makes you feel like you’re on vacation in a Carribean resort. Highly recommend.
