Chicken sandwich and Detroit style pizza were fantastic but the steak mac and cheese blew it out of the water.
This was my first time dining in Wayne, so I’m glad it was a memorable one. Service was good and the food was delicious.
My friend and I shared the coconut calamari, TGB nuggets, and the steak mac & cheese.
The calamari comes with all rings, no tentacles, and topped with jalapeño, red bell pepper, scallions, cashews, and coconut sweet Thai chili crunch. So unique, so good!
The TGB nuggets are made with free range chicken, buttermilk brined, and then topped with blue cheese crumbles. The chicken was light, tender, and packed with flavor.
The steak mac & cheese is made with grass fed sirloin, gnocchi, 3 cheese béchamel, pretzels crumbs, and steak jus. I would prefer a different type of pasta for this dish, but it was still enjoyable.
TGB has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup and delivery are both available.
Good beer selection. Nice bar atmosphere. 2 TVs if you want to watch sports.
I visited the Wayne location tonight and it was so ridiculously loud inside that you could not hear someone unless they were yelling in your ear. The hostess was trying to speak to someone on the phone when we arrived and they’re grimacing while trying their hardest to hear the caller while their other hand is over the other ear.
That summarized the entire dinner. Great food, great drinks, zero sound absorption except for a couple decorative curtains.
I would not go again.
Sandwich & a salad cost $42.
$42. Plus tip.
—Way overpriced per quality.
Fries with the sandwich were the bottom of the bag small. Sandwich was just ok, messy & odd mayo sauce, nothing great.
They have ketchup but apparently no mustard also…
& $7 to add a very few pieces of bland chicken to the salad. ($7–?!?!)
Good/easy casual music & atmosphere. Nice outside patio too. People are fine, decent service.
–But overall, 3rd time through Wayne & random restaurant for eats kinda seems the same mediocre-at-best food no matter where we go here.
