Always a pleasant experience. Food was good just miss an old staple the black bean and quinoa burger. Best cocktails. Highly recommend the Hemingway daiquiri! Light, refreshing, w/ grapefruit notes! Karen knocks it out of the park every time. She also makes the most delicious white tea! Love the AWESOME customer service. So refreshing these days!

I always enjoy the iced lattes here one my favorite coffee shops in the RDU but never order food until today. I order breakfast I couldn’t really eat much of super oily and eggs are overcooked scrambled with cheese. Biscuits is hard and didn’t get any preserve I hate to be that person but I had leave a review. I hope the food is better dinning in I usually never order breakfast to go.

We were looking for a new place to eat, rather than the same ole Briar Creek crap. Found Goat on Google maps, read the reviews. Looked at the menu and decided to give it a try.

One of the things I first noticed was a walk up coffee window. They have full blown baristas that serve inside, the window and the restaurant.

We were on the early side (4ish) so the place wasn’t crowded yet. We were seated in a booth work s couple silent (THANK GOD) TVS above our head showing various sports shows. The decor was very nice. Big open space work interesting wall decorations including a collage of goat pictures. I do see it could be pretty loud if the place were fully loaded.

Maybe it’s was just our booth but the material/vinyl was very tacky. Not like dirty tacky. Just tacky. Made it super hard to get in and out of the booth. Just an observation not a complaint.

The food was absolutely first rate. I had their dry rub boneless chicken wings. Wife got an amazing looking salad.

We ordered queso and chips which were great except not nearly enough chips for the amount of dip. I’m sure it waitress would have provided additional, but she was rarely seen. More later. We also got the basket of Tots. These aren’t your typical fast food tater tots. These were true potatoe fried toys that were huge. Again first rate.

These were my issues. Out waitress was very nice, but seemed to disappear after out food was delivered. I had iced tea that consistently ran dry and we had to ask other wait staff for refills. With my wings you get the choice of ranch or blue cheese. I choose ranch, but guess what i got. Yep. Blue cheese, and again we had to ask other wait staff for ranch as again our waitress was no where in sight.

We found the priced very reasonable, but we were there during happy hour so there were some happy hour discounts applied.

All in all it was a place we plan to visit often, and you should too

I wanted to try this place since I have driven by it many times. They had some interesting items on the menu. I had the goat dry rub wings. They were alright, the rub has a sweet Smokey taste. I also tried the Korean chicken wrap, which was ok. The sauce was bland and didn’t taste like Korean chicken. The Mac and cheese was bad. The pasta was undercooked and the sauce was bland. My drink was a smoothie with coffee and banana in it which was different and I enjoyed that. Considering the price, I wouldn’t go back unless they improve on seasoning their food. The lady at the takeout window was courteous and handed me my food with a smile.

This was our first visit! We had the hand breaded pickle chips along with the Korean Fried Chicken Wrap and Burger of the Month which had a whipped feta and cucumber sauce, all at the recommendation of our amazing server. All this was wonderful but the fries took the cake. They were hot, fresh and crispy! Will be back and recommend to others!!

Food was just ok. Loved the house tator tots, the brussel sprouts seemed too sweet? We asked for medium on burger, but seemed on the rare side. The whipped feta on the burger and chicken pesto sandwich was delicious. My house made cold brew was the best part. Ambience was good, not sure if we will be back

I ordered online to go, received a time window for it to be ready. I decided to go in and check out the interior. They have a nice coffee/tea shop within the restaurant. They also had a nice looking bar which I did not sit or have a drink since I ordered a Chai Tea at the counter I mentioned above. I noticed I was waiting quite a a while for my burger to go. Several times the staff members went into the kitchen to check on my order. The restaurant did not seem to be busy at all, since it was about 4pm before dinner time. I finally had to ask a staff member for a fourth check on my food since we were about well past the pick up window. Well, the first time I noticed was the shredded lettuce tasted like the lettuce that is purchased in bulk already processed. That or if they shredded it, not stored well because the taste & smell was like it picked it up from a walk-in cooler or something. Burger seemed like nice quality and cooked nicely. I think if I wasn’t output by the lettuce, the burger would’ve got a much better rating.

A cool and convenient place to get something to eat and drink.

The atmosphere is spacious and the sound carries so if you are trying to watch the game you won’t have to worry about the crowd talking over it. I sat at the bar and checked out the pool and volleyball court across from me. This looks like a community center with a restaurant which peaks my interest. I tried taking photos of the ambiance and the beautiful assortment of bottles but I fear it doesn’t do justice.

I had a Honey Puloma mocktail which was sweet, crisp, and had a slightly bitter aftertaste from the grapefruit used in it. The waitress, Anna, added a little lemonade to make it a little sweeter. I also ordered a firecracker shrimp which is my new favorite now, and the feta melt which was devine. The meat was juicy, zesty and salty just the way i like a burger.

The service was excellent in person. My only feedback was that I tried the number and no one had answered. The answering machine said the place was closed which seemed off. I tried calling in my order so I can come and pick it up so if you try to do the same just be mindful of that. Otherwise, the staff, was welcoming and Anna was informative with her drinks. Her recommendations for mocktails were impeccable.

Overall, I was well taken care of and WILL come back with folks. I HIGHLY recommend.
