Serving Lunch with seatings from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm, Wed-Saturday! Your full service luncheon begins with a complementary flute of our Spiced Apple Refresher, and includes your choice of appetizer, entree with accompaniments, dessert, and beverages for a total of $34.95 plus tax. For parties larger than 6 guests, tax and gratuity are included on your ticket for a total of $44.50 per person. Our luncheon is designed to be enjoyed in its entirety; we do not allow split meals or a la carte ordering. We plan to serve every member of your party seated at your table.

Absolutely wonderful!!! The Glitz is so beautifully decorated! The food is so delicious & every thing is housemade! Not only delicious food, but beautiful as well!! The two ladies that own & run Irish Acres are just lovely!! My lunch consisted if an appetizer, lunch plate with salad, dessert & a champagne flute filled with their housemade cider!! All just delicious!! I enjoyed my day here so much with my 2 friends!! You definitely want to makeva reservation!

Restaurant: I had to ask were the restaurant was located because the only sign I saw was Exit. It is 2 flights down stairs, I didn’t see an elevator but I also didn’t ask. The atmosphere was over the top mesmerizing and felt like you were in a world of luxury. I would recommend business casual attire. Our server was very attentive to our large party. At the end of service you head to the front to pay, parties of 6 or more have a 20% gratuity automatically added. The price for the experience is worth it.
Food: The Spiced Apple Refresher drink taste like Christmas with strong notes of clove/cinnamon. You’ll either love it or hate it. The drink selection is limited to water, tea, or coffee. The food portions are small and not enough for leftovers but you will leave full, not stuffed. There is a set menu with few items to choose from that changes every three weeks. Because my party had booked in advance, we weren’t sure what food options we would get till the week of. Several of my party had mentioned they would have liked to have had one of the options from the previous weeks menu. My food was good but needed more salt and pepper. This is not provided on the table, but I also didn’t ask. My favorite part was the dessert.

What a lovely place to eat and enjoy upscale dining. The place is breathtaking and the food was wonderful. Side note this is not a handicap accessible building, which we did not know until we got there, however, the management was absolutely wonderful in assisting my son down the roughly 15 stairs to get to the restaurant. The children’s selection is limited and cost the same as the adults if that is something that makes or breaks an outing like this. But overall this was an amazing lunch experience that my mother who absolutely enjoyed spending her birthday doing. Book ahead as the Restuarant was completely full on a Thursday.

The menu changes every 3 weeks and is limited, but very affordable and delicious. We were started off with an Apple Cider Refresher and our beverage of choice. Then you order your appetizer, entrée, and dessert at the same time and then they come out in that order. The food was beautifully presented, was delicious and filling. I cannot wait to come back here. It is the perfect place for you and your girlfriends for your Girl’s Day lunch. 10/10 recommend. I cannot stop thinking about how much I loved t this place.

The unique charming restaurant is located inside a antique store in beautiful horse country…the drive in took us through horse farms and we loved it…this lovely business is a word of mouth and social media find that I hope more people discover! We spent about an hour and a half looking thru the antique store then went down stairs to the Glitz…The antique store alone would’ve been impressive enough and this was the cherry on top…we were greated by such a sweet lady named Vi and taken to our table that made us feel like we were in a fairytale…the decor is elegant sparkly and just makes you feel special. They have a set menu that rotates every 3 weeks…we loved everything and the portions were perfect…Take your Mom, best friend or anyone who you’d like to do something special with…this wasn’t just a “lunch” it’s a whole experience that I will definitely be repeating…my only regret is that I’ve lived 45 minutes from this wonderful place for 4 years and just discovered it…make a reservation just to make sure you don’t miss out!

Oh my goodness this place was remarkable! After hearing about this from a friend, I was so excited to eat here! Everything was magnificently wonderful! From the ambience, decor and atmosphere to the service, wait staff and food. When I walked in, I felt like I was walking into a winter wonderland. The service was 5 star exceptional! Each dish came out quick, drinks were always refilled, all the staff were attentive and kind. The food was exceptional! I loved that’s it’s a set menu and you choose your appetizer, entree and dessert. Also includes coffee and tea, and a glass of their delicious apple drink and I can’t recall the name, but it’s like drinking Christmas in a glass. I can’t believe I have never heard or been to this unique dining experience! I can’t wait to go back! This is perfect for a girls day out, family get together, day date with your significant other.

We had the best time. My sister, my great niece and me had the most fabulous lunch amongst all the beautiful sparkling lights. The waiters were top notch and so very attentive. If you haven’t visited THE GLITZ, you are missing one of Kentucky’s most hidden treasures! We will definitely go back next year as soon as they open again. My great niece is already asking when. we can return. Of course we found many treasure in the antique store and hoping they are there when we return. Highly recommended!!

I LOVE this place! They are closed throughout the winter and open in early April I believe. They grow their own herbs and vegetables. Their food is absolutely amazing and if you have any allergies you just specify that when you make your reservation and they will accommodate to you. My sisters and I take my mom every year and we have a girls day. It’s just so much fun. It’s a very “glitzy” place. There’s 3 levels….you enter the main doors to the main floor, the restaurant is downstairs and then they have TONS of rooms with antiques all throughout the whole building. We love looking around every time we go. It never gets old. We also try to go when they have a different menu so that we don’t get the same things. They only change their menu a couple of times and so far we’ve never gotten the same dish. Besides dessert of course. I love that you can dress up and feel glamorous for a couple of hours during the day. You definitely do not have to dress up, we just like to match the atmosphere. As you can see in the photos, it’s beautiful!!! I love the atmosphere, and the bathroom (it’s also very fancy). If you feel like dressing up and hanging out with your lady friends for a nice afternoon, this is your place. They’re only open from 11pm to 1:30pm and I would definitely recommend that you make reservations. The people are so very sweet and always respond when they’re texted or emailed about something. Can’t wait to go back soon!
Side note: if you have small children you may want to find a sitter because this is not the place for them to run or roam freely. There’s extremely OLD and VERY expensive antiques here and in some areas there’s not much room to walk nor push a stroller if you had to. Just a little piece of advice there.

If you are going to be in Kentucky, you like antique stores, and wonderful dining experiences, go online and reserve your lunch time at The Glitz. Make sure you have time to peruse the old school house turned antique store. Lunch at the Glitz always includes a refresher, an appetizer, main course and dessert. The menu changes every 3 weeks or so. You will not regret it. Added bonus, a lovely winding drive through the country.

This was my first time at the glitz after hearing so many good things about it. My wife and I were celebrating a very special birthday lunch for her. Much Thanks to Jane, Emily, and our amazing waitress, Maggie, for a wonderful experience!!!
