Welcome! The Glenn was designed and built to be your “Third Place”. What is a Third Place? Well, there’s the place where you live and there’s the place where you work; the Third Place is where you want to go when you’re not at the other two – a comfortable, community gathering place to pass some pleasant time with your neighbors and friends. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it and we look forward to seeing you often!

Down-to-earth watering hole with a patio, draft craft beers & hearty comfort food like burgers.

We visited on a Friday and the place was pretty empty. I guess they have events other days. We didn’t have dinner there just fries and drinks so not sure how the food is there but the server was friendly. Unfortunately we spent less than an hour there because they have a plumbing issue and they close the place early.

I’m leaving a one-star review because of the mandatory 5% surcharge labeled as a “Fair Wage Fee.”

Menu prices here are already high for standard bar food — $17.50 for a buffalo chicken salad made with frozen chicken tenders and $20 for a sandwich. At those prices, customers reasonably expect that wages and operating costs are already built into the menu.

The issue isn’t simply the surcharge — it’s how it’s labeled. The receipt and signage frame this charge as being connected to “fair wages,” which naturally leads customers to believe the fee directly supports employees. When I specifically asked about it, the server explained that the fee is used for insurance for the kitchen and clearly stated that it does not go to the staff.

That explanation creates a clear disconnect between the name of the charge and what it actually funds. The wording appeals to customers’ sense of fairness and concern for workers, while functioning as a general operating surcharge retained by the business. That distinction matters.

There is a sign posted at the door explaining the policy, but it is far more noticeable when leaving than when entering, and it does not resolve the underlying issue of how this fee is framed versus how it is used.

The restaurant was busy and clearly not struggling for customers. If operating costs need to be recovered, that should be done transparently through menu pricing rather than through a surcharge labeled in a way that suggests something very different.

Using the language of fairness to justify a surcharge that ultimately benefits ownership more than anyone else reads less like transparency and more like monetizing customers’ good intentions.

Plenty of parking easy in and out nice very. Jade, the bartender was very friendly and helpful. She seems to know most of the people that were there. Plenty of seating, and under the bar has the hooks for your purse which not every place does. Very clean and the music was not overly loud.

Came to this bar & grill near Irma Drive and East 112th Avenue in Northglenn (and hence the name of the restaurant) as a party of three for an early weeknight dinner. Casual atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Menu has a good variety of sandwiches, burgers, etc. and they have specials, Happy Hour menu for drinks/appetizers, and events happening (trivia night, live music, etc.) on some nights during the week. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Plenty of seats/booths inside the restaurant, as well as an outside/back patio area with a separate bar and a good number of picnic table-style seating for nice weather days. Adjacent parking lot is free, but might seem a bit cramped when the spots are all taken (as it was when we came). Overall, a good experience – recommended.

The Glenn used to be great. It used to be relatively affordable. They have so much potential as a neighborhood bar/restaurant, but there hours don’t make any sense, many times, they don’t even honor their own hours – try to order online, you’ll get all the way to the end of the transaction, then you’ll get a text message saying your order was cancelled and your card will get a refund within 3 DAYS. Unacceptable. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for many years and would love to go to this place on a regular basis but it is unreliable and too expensive at best.

Man, for the small size of this joint, this place is really something special. The dude there was all very welcoming, even though he was like the only dude working the floor. Total bro, that one.

A small, swanky place, too. Makes my goblin self feel huge! Nice, antique looking wood benches. And the food was pretty solid, too. The french dip is definitely a solid choice.

We came in for a late brunch for the first time. Got sat on the patio. The vibe was awesome. The atmosphere was great cool little spot. My wife and daughter loved their meal, mine not so much. I got the chicken fried steak with eggs And the chicken fried steak was lightly cooked l which made it chewy and extremely small. It honestly feels like we got the last of the chicken fried steak as we were there, later. Probably a little bit my fault as it was late and we were hungry. I should’ve said something.

Had a beautiful Fall day to enjoy the sun on the patio, ample seating both inside and outside. Would love to enjoy some live music on the patio, great atmosphere for it. Service was fast and great, food was delicious, cocktails were a little lacking. The Old Fashioned was one of the worst I’ve ever tasted, the Cucumber Fire was just ok. Would visit again , and maybe just get a beer. I had the Whiskey burger-YUM! My friend had the steak sliders, and her son had the pretzel. Pretzel cheese was very good!

Fun Bloody Mary bar, great outdoor patio area, friendly service and the food came out fast. The cheesesteak was amazing, the french dip could use more flavor, and the sides were also very good. Overall, for sure recommend!

Another visit, another bloody mary, of course. Had a burger and the reuben this time around. Both were delicious and service was great.
