Love this charming diner! From their simple and down-home atmosphere to their delicious and plentiful dishes this diner is comforting on all levels!
Their Patty Melt, “The Bernie” is the best I’ve had in TN, so that’s what keeps me going back. The tots are super crispy and the coleslaw is to die for. I’m not a big fan of catfish, but my friend swears it’s top notch, and she loves the hush puppies as well.
The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.

Great little dive a smidge off the beaten path. Great portion sizes, totally reasonable prices, fantastic quality food! Curds were excellent, fried green maters were absolutely PERFECT. The burger was tasty, but the country fried steak & mashed potatoes stole the show. Worth the detour, wouldn’t hesitate to return (& we will)!

Just moved to the area, and stumbled across this diner. Small town diner, no frills. Small parking lot. Not many tables.
Cheese curds were an 9/10.
Homemade ranch dressing was delicious.
Chicken wings were surprisingly good (we’re from Buffalo) – 8/10.
Chicken Fried Chicken was good. Mashed potatoes were excellent.
Pimento Double Cheeseburger was huge and hubby enjoyed.
Fries were good too. Tator tots were a hit!
Only thing I wasn’t a fan of, was drinking out of Styrofoam cups.
If you’re looking for a small diner with great food, this is your place. We will be visiting here often!

This diner is precious! My toddler ate most of the cheese curds. We had the salmon patties and Philly cheese steak. Everything was delicious!! Such a cute little hidden gem. You also get 10% off at scoops & sweets next door with your receipt. We will definitely be back.

Burger was great. Toasted bun, cooked medium. Condiments were fresh.
Fries were hot, seasoned and crispy.

If you’re looking for a cozy family restaurant with fresh made burgers (hand patted) then this will be your favorite spot !!! We travel through the area often and saw info online about how incredible their burgers were. We recently stopped by to try them out and were SO IMPRESSED from the quality of food and quality of service We will visit everytime we are in town!!

2nd time eating here on our 2nd visit to the State Park. Both times were fantastic. Greeted as soon as you enter, waitress is asking what you what to drink as soon as you sit down.. Drinks on table before you can blink an eye. All the food comes out hot and fresh. This time I got the patty melt and onion rings, both were fantastic, and did I say hot? I also got a side of baked beans, those were amazing, never had baked beans like that before. Not sure what they put in them, but they are packed with goodness. Wife got the fried bologna sandwich and fries. Fries were hot, fresh, and nicely seasoned, nice size smooth cut fries, with a little bit of skin on. Bologna was a nice thick cut, cross hatched and seasoned well, grilled just right. It is a little loud inside, but not too bad. The waitress checks on you and fills your drinks just enough to not be a bother. We had the same waitress both visits, and she is a Rock Star. Don’t pass this place up if you are in the area. It’s about a 15 minute drive from Cedars of Lebanon State park.
