Walked by and decided to try it out because of these 2 signs.

Kimchi hot dog was maybe a little better than a hot dog at a stadium concession stand? Hot dog bun was out of a bag and it tore apart after 1 bite from the kimchi and condiments. I ended up just eating everything unconstructed.
Cucumber salad was basic and underwhelming. Although, it was the tastiest item I ordered.
Veggie egg rolls, about the same quality as a panda express.

I guess I expected more for the hype.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since I first heard about their food truck years ago, but I never got the chance! I was back in Boulder for the day so I got lunch here after finding out about the new location. The bento box was delicious and I think a solid deal for the price. The gochujang chicken was a great spice level where it gave ya a lil kick in the pants, but wasn’t overpowering other flavors. Drink was so good too. The staff is very friendly as well.

I laughed a little bit after opening my container of food because for $14 not including tip I got only a couple lumps of tofu… Absolutely 100% a waste of my money. No rice, no side, just a couple lumps. It was more than two dollars a lump. I assumed when I first ordered that with $14 I would at least have some leftovers but boy was I wrong.

Pleasantly surprised by this one—great taste, generous portions, and solid value for $12. Just taking off one star because the lumpia didn’t have the Filipino flavor (though I appreciated the effort!) but the karaage was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I’d go back anytime to try the other offerings!

Ginger Pig is definitely a must if you’re in the Boulder Denver area Not only is the food phenomenal. The staff is just great between Tasha Alexander Ward Grahm Luis and the rest of the staff are just all around great people very accommodating, generous, and most importantly very Sincere I’ve grown to know the staff and altogether they are the realist crew on The Hilll , genuine ,personable, and always glad to see you..

Literally the dankest and best of Boulder . Very favorable , taste so good it’ll make your mouth water. The cucumber salad goes perfectly with the pork and taste just as good . The cucumber salad is so tasty that it changed my mind about cucumber salads . They converted me to a fan ! If you haven’t tried it yet .. don’t know what you’re waiting for ! It’s the best of the best !

My partner and I were very excited to try this place after all the hype, but were pretty disappointed with what we received. The dumplings were OK but nothing spectacular, honestly you could get the same results if not better from heating up frozen store bought dumplings. The meat of the chicken was dry while the breading was wet and seemed to lack flavor. I thought the fries were okay, but my partner insisted there was a bad aftertaste and a very “reheated” quality to them. With that said, my Kra Pao Burger (thai basil beef) was flavorful and I would consider ordering this again if I just wanted a quick bite. It was only after our experience that we read that this place has lost its reputation for quality since changing its menu and other shifts in design. I hope they find their way back.

Wish I didn’t have to leave a review to get a response but here we are.

I placed an order for delivery, it never arrived. Called Boulder location, phone not picked up vm full. Called Denver location, phone not picked up, vm full. Emailed, bounce back and undeliverable. Messsaged on facebook, left on read. Sent the same order again, delivered but order wrong. Hope they had an off night and will respond to this so we can resolve and remove.

Love their food, I hope they can show their customer service exists in some capacity.

The Ginger Pig used to be one of my go-to spots on the hill with their authentic dishes, great flavors, and a sense that everything was made fresh with care. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Ever since the new menu rollout, the quality has really taken a hit.
The food now tastes like it’s been pre-cooked, frozen, and reheated rather than made to order. The seasoning is either way over seasoned and inedible or it’s just bland, and the although the prices are lower it doesn’t justify the decline in quality. It feels like they expanded their menu and overhead beyond what they can support, which has sacrificed quality in the process.
I really wanted to love it again, but this 2nd experience with their new menu was a huge letdown. The Ginger Pig went from being a standout favorite on the hill, to just another overhyped spot cutting corners.

Heard about this place and been dying to try it out, me and my partner finally went the other day & it was amazing! I had the Korean Spicy chicken rice bowl and my partner had the barbecue chicken. We were originally planning a date night here but had no idea it was take out only- no seating at all available. We took the food home and it was delicious! Probably the best asian food I have ever had. Wish they had seating at the Boulder location and wasn’t in such a crazy frat CU part of town -lol. Fun to walk around and see all the kids partying, pretty lively area. Parking was a bit difficult but we just parked a couple blocks away and walked (not bad at all). Best asian food ever! Want to eventually try Denver location for a sit down experience as well.
