Came to get the Chicago style pizza tonight for the first time! We got a cheese and meat-lovers. The meat lovers was good, but both pizzas were “thick crust with one layer of topping,” more than deep dish with a thinner crust and lots of layers filling the middle like the usual Chicago style. The cheese pizza wasn’t bad, but very bready with one layer of cheese. We would come back, but not sure it’s genuine Chicago style:) Still seems like a great Italian restaurant and we would still recommend it for any other style of pizza/food!

Food is very good for the last few years we’ve been coming here. Service is ok by todays standards but we enjoy supporting local businesses and will continue to keep coming here with their solid food line up.

Absolutely delicious Italian food made with heart and soul. The manager was extremely helpful suggesting certain dishes, being able to accommodate our delivery time, and friendly over the phone when taking our large order. Thank you Giambancos for the excellent service!!!! Recommend to friends and family

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch. Today is Tuesday, and there were five other tables occupied besides ours. The dining room is nicely decorated, with pleasant music playing at a comfortable volume. The service was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were served in real glasses and the food on porcelain plates. Fantastic! The quality of the food was excellent; we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was prompt. The restrooms were clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

First time trying The Giambancos Italian Grill, I loved the pizza. It was fresh and flavored and wasn’t salty or greasy. The dining room was spotless and quiet. The service was polite and efficient. The price was very reasonable. I’d say ” go here, eat here and go back again”.

My wife had been here once on a girls night out. She suggested our family give this a try. First, this is not you regular “pizza joint” though they do serve pizza. Upon entering I could tell this place was different by looking at how professional the wait staff was dressed. We were seated promptly. Our waiter, Brandon, knew the menus well and took our drink orders. Wife and I had beer my son had what they called a Fireball Margarita which was made with Tequila and Fireball Whiskey which I thought was a bad combination until I tasted it. Highly recommend it! Brandon came to take our order and I had questions about some of the food because of my allgeries. What he didn’t know he left to ask and promptly came back to let me know. We ordered the Tomato Brushetta for an appetizer so I could decide what I wanted to order. It came out quickly and looked amazing! We gave our order with my wife having the Spaghetti with Caesar Salad and baked potato, son having the Calzone and me the Seafood Salad adding black olives. We were served these amazing rolls prior to the food which came out all at one time, was hot and was amazing presentation and taste wise. Brando was very tentative making sure everything was OK. My wife and son got to go boxes because the portions are worth the price of food. Upon asking if we wanted dessert my son chose to tackle the cheese cake with a strawberry glaze which was huge. He could not eat it all taking half in his to go box. In ending this I want to say this place is more than a restaurant. For me it was an experience. I have never been to Italy but this is what I would expect in a place if I were to go there. I don’t want to say it’s fine dining but is more upscale on presentation. You don’t have to get all dressed up to enjoy what they have to offer in their quality of food and experience. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Oh and just to mention though we did not try, they do have a Tap Room.

Visited last night for the first time as a family. I am always skeptical going to Italian places because let’s be honest, most in VA are awful. HOWEVER, this was DELICIOUS. The menu was beautiful and not overbearing with pages of nonsense. The food was soooo good, each of us enjoyed every bit of what we had which included appetizers & entrees. They even care about how the kids menu food is made and that says a lot. The service was amazing and our waitress was very attentive. The host at the door greeted us with a gentle smile and seated us promptly. Highly recommend.

Half price Wine Wednesdays (bottles), Entrees are always well prepared and delicious. I recently ordered the Bronzino from the seasonal menu ($28) which came in a lemon caper sauce with cherry tomatoes and served with a side salad. I started with a very generous Brussel Sprouts appetizer, plenty for 2 to share. Service was very friendly and attentive. The pizza here is really great too. I have frequented this restaurant many times over the last 8 years – always fresh, consistent, and delicious and a good value for the money. They can be very busy on the weekend- try a weekday lunch- You won’t be disappointed!

Went to this establishment a few weeks ago. I had the salmon and my husband had the chicken parm. Both meals were delicious. The service, however, needs work. The waitress never came back to see if we needed drink refills. I was going to let that slide, so when we paid for the bill, we asked for Togo cup of water, a soda & a bag to carry our leftovers home. Literally, 10 mins passed, and I got fed up & went to the bar to ask for Togo refill cups and bags, so we could leave.
