My wife and I stopped by for lunch as we were exploring in the State Forest. I had a half pound burger and my wife had the popcorn shrimp. The meals were pretty good but the accompanying coleslaw was over the top. If we’re ever back in that area, we’d be sure to stop by again.

I had the grilled chicken salad and it was fantastic. It was not huge. It’s a bit on the smaller side but the amount of chicken was the same as you would receive if you went to a place with a huge salad. The ranch dressing, his fantastic. Neither one of us needed to add Salter pepper to anything. Everything was already seasoned Well. The salad I believe was $7.50 and the country fried steak with three sides and a choice of bread and tea was only $10.25 a little cheaper than that if you choose water instead of tea. Next time I’m going to try the battered onion rings I forgot to order them in the beginning for An appetizer, so I will try them next time I’m traveling through that area. I also had an order of fries and they were fantastic there my favorite kind, extra crispy, and a little seasoned, and have that kind of battered crunchiness to them. They are similar to the red elephants Fries in Dothan , AL. This is a nice little cozy country cooking place that Is very well priced. The portions are Not huge I usually end up with it take home box, but I didn’t here and that is fine. If someone were to need a larger Quantity of food it would be really easy to add some delicious sides and make it a larger meal. Oh, and next time I’m going to try the country fried steak because they actually serve Green beans here that are not from a can! Also, I was told at the country fried steak was delicious and the fried okra was the best awesome, and very good

This is the place to eat in Baker Florida. Locals eat here. The hamburgers, fries and cold slaw were good. Server was attentive.

Has a certain charm? I don’t eat meat so the menu options for me are sort of limited? Ended up with a grilled cheese which had a TON of cheese … the most I’ve ever seen on a sandwich! (Wish I would have snapped a photo of it!) Would have been better with maybe some seasoning or something but it was good for a couple pieces of buttery toast with a generous helping of cheese!

We loved our dinner here. My husband had their burger, I ordered their surf and turf. We enjoyed the brownie sundae and apple turnover after our dinner. Everything was DELICIOUS! The server was super friendly! Can’t wait to try more menu items!

We stopped for supper while in town and it was a good experience! We both ordered the New York Strip steak as medium, it arrived at table with no pink inside. The steaks were still good so we didn’t complain. Next time we will order medium rare. The baked potatoes were baked just right, nice and soft, and our salads were cold and crispy! We will be returning to try other menu items and their malts!!

Charming local cafe with a hometown ambiance. The broiled flounder and burgers are quite satisfactory. Fried okra or squash are your best options for sides. If you order fries, you end up with less than a handful. However, the service is subpar. It takes approximately 20 minutes to place an order, followed by a 45-minute wait for food. Additionally, there are charges for condiments, water, and to-go containers. A complimentary side of white sauce is consistently served, although its purpose remains unclear.

Cozy, southern comfort cafe with great service, delicious fresh food, and many options. The service was very fast, we were able to get in and out without at all feeling rushed. Great lunch break stop. I’ll keep it in mind for when I’m in the area next.
