Stopped by for lunch before an appointment I had. They were so friendly and explained the menu and answered questions I had. They had non-dairy options! The chicken salad wrap was so good, and the iced match latte was perfect!

My wife and I have been wanting to check out the Gathering Grounds. We were fans of the old Walton Freeze when Julie owned it. We were excited to finally get to try out the Gathering Grounds.
I was happy to see that the decor is fun, faith-filled, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and the service was fast.
We ordered the large Nacho Fiesta with a chocolate Coke and a marshmallow Diet Coke.
I enjoyed our food and drinks. I can’t say that I liked the Nacho Fiesta as much as I liked the ones Julie made back-in-the-day, but it was good.
Overall it was a good first visit. I’ve heard good things about their coffee and ice cream, so I’m looking forward to trying those soon.

How cute is this place?! The staff (two ladies) were very helpful. Took their time (Hannah and Crystal) to help out a non-coffee drinker figure it out, the food options are impressive and quality good. The place is CLEAN AS A WHISTLE. Bathroom spotless. Just a real asset to this small community. I’m just passing thru, but kudos y’all!

The food is passable but they cut their hours back from 9pm to 8pm and I didn’t know it and I came in with my son and nephew at 7:55 and instead of helping us they turned off the signs and locked the doors when they saw us getting out… Not the young staff, the owners.. when you’re in a service industry if you close at 8 you help people till 8. If you don’t want to help people till a certain time set your time back (again). We went to Sweet Retreat instead, they had no problem serving people till closing time; their ice cream is better quality too.

It may be a brand new place, but I will hand it to the owners,they have done an awesome job training their employees.
They run the place like it has been around forever.

We have gone 2 times so far. The first time we got the brownie sundae, s’mores sundae, and monster mash sundae. They were all delicious, especially the smores!! The girl at the drive thru window was so joyful, her smile was contagious! The second time we tried the coffees. My husband got the Delightful Grounds and I got the iced caramel macchiato! Both were really good. Can’t wait to try more things from their menu! Keep the smiles coming! ♥️
