This is a wonderful coffee house. Whether you’re Christian or not, I highly recommend visiting. The service is very warm and kind. The atmosphere is relaxing. As it is a remodeled home, you will truly feel right at home. There is space outdoors on both sides of the home and space indoors on the first and second floor. You’ll find a cozy spot easily! I don’t even drink coffee, but they have tea I love. My favorite drink to order is the London Fog , which isn’t on the menu at many places I’ve visited. The food is tasty as well. I’ve tried their chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon roll. My mom asked the barista for a pin to add to the world map on the wall since she’s from Louisiana. You should go add your own pin. The Gathering Coffeehouse is my favorite café in the Burg. I love meeting up with my friends and talking over scones and lattes. The atmosphere is cozy and like I’m visiting family instead of cold boring rigid minimalism in big chain coffee places. The staff are all kind and welcoming. I love that they have a prayer board and decorate for the different seasons/holidays. One of my favorite menu items is their seasonal apple cider. When it’s warm I often meet clients on the huge back deck to work and enjoy a cold drink. I only wish the building was ADA accessible. One of my friends is a full time wheelchair user and can’t visit due to mud and stairs at both entrances.

I had the opportunity to visit The Gathering Coffee House in Warrensburg, Missouri yesterday and ordered a cortado. From the moment I walked through the door, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and inviting. The barista and staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do.
I sat down to enjoy my cortado while watching a beautifully crafted espresso shot and taking in the intentional influence they have within the community. One moment that really stood out was seeing how they collaborate with UCM—serving free pancakes to the UCM college president as students returned from Christmas break. It was such a genuine and thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about their mission.
It’s clear that The Gathering is more than just a coffee shop. They operate as a ministry as well—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that upholds strong biblical values and standards. That’s a high bar to set, and they pursue it with excellence and authenticity.
I’m looking forward to many more great cups of coffee at The Gathering Coffee House.

I love the Gathering! It’s a perfect spot for anyone to relax. They have so many fun flavors to level up your latte, or better yet try one of their curated latte recommendations. The seasonal ones are always my favorite (especially the s’mores latte)! If you’re not feeling like a coffee, they have so many delicious teas and pastries to treat yourself to, as well! The Gathering is absolutely my favorite place in Warrensburg to decompress, study, or hang with friends. It has the perfect ambiance. It’s not just for college students, it’s a great place for anyone in the community! I highly recommend stopping by, if you haven’t already. I can’t say enough good things!

This is one of the cutest coffee houses I have ever been too. It’s warm and inviting and the staff is super sweet. My coffee and scones were amazing. Parking might be a little complicated due to campus traffic but it’s worth parking down the street and making the walk. Absolutely love this place!!
