All of the food was delicious. We had the chicken fried steak one with mashed potatoes and one with the loaded baked potato and the triple BLT with fries. Everything came out fairly quickly and absolutely hot. Our waitress was so super sweet and very attentive. Definitely happy we stopped in here when we were passing through.

This place is outstanding! The food was absolutely fantastic ! I lived I atmosphere of the place vary inviting and comfortable. The waitress was very nice and good at her job. I would definitely recommend this place for any time, really. I wasn’t really expecting much from this towns food, but this, the place changed my mind about the food. Once again, the food was great, and the service was amazing.

I had some time to kill so I popped in for a bite to eat. The place was pretty empty so I was seated immediately. My server, Jodi, was very attentive and kind with a warming smile. I was craving a burger so I opted for the Bacon Cheeseburger with a little nudge from Jodi. She stated that the patties were hand formed and assured me that their bacon was delicious. A short 10 minutes later my food arrived. The shiny toasted bun and the stack of fresh lettuce, tomato, sliced onion and pickles made me excited to build it! A bonus we’re the crisy fresh cut fries! Accompanied with house made fry sauce. The perfectly seasoned burger, fresh veggies and soft bun was exactly what I was craving. All in all I had a great meal. I would highly recommend The Gateway Cafe to anyone that happens to find themselves in Plummer Idaho. Happy eating!

Solid dinner in central ID panhandle. We had breakfast. My wife and omelet, and me the eggs and hash browns. Neither we’re outstanding, but both were perfectly fine.

My wife and I love stopping by here everytime we are riding our motorcycle through town. It’s a great small town restaurant with excellent food. Morning cooks make food so dang fast, and it is so yummy.

Nothing very interesting on the outside, but so cute inside! We had a taco salad which was excellent, large and full of fresh ingredients, including the freshly fried tortilla bowl. The fish and chips were just out of a box, but I knew that ahead of time. Large portion of great fries, tasty tarter that didn’t seem out of a bottle. Hubby still had room for dessert so he chose a chocolate peanut butter pie, he loved it and other than the fake whipped topping it seemed homemade too. Several homemade pies were available. Server could have used some training, but was friendly. We’ll go back, they have a great menu!

Went there for breakfast today waited 45 minutes then noticed everyone that came in after us were getting their food. So ask the waitress what was going on then ten minutes later she brought our food out. You could tell it had been sitting in kitchen for long time it was so cold we couldn’t eat it. I told two employees it was cold they said sorry and brought me a bill for 42 dollars. She said pop machine blew up. I paid the bill left hungry. I shouldn’t of had to pay today.
