The Garrison is a cozy log cabin American restaurant and bar, that offers delicious food with daily food specials. It has a full bar with 24 rotating draft lines, happy hour specials, and daily drink specials. During the spring, summer and fall months, they offer outside seating on their patio with views of Lake George and during the winter months, they have a fire pit to keep you warm. They offer live music a few nights a week from local talented musicians. With ample parking, The Garrison has been a local and tourist favorite for over seven decades.

There were three in our party and we enjoyed everything. The appetizers were fantastic… Wings and hot pretzels. Our entrées were salads and a chicken sandwich… Everything was presented beautifully, and the quality and flavor was fantastic. Our waitress was wonderful…I look forward to returning.

Our first time here! Ordered chicken tenders and bruschetta. The chicken tenders were juicy and crispy, bruschetta was the perfect combination of tomato, onion and garlic. We had an amazing time, great views. Anthony was great and recommended a strawberry margarita, also delicious! Can’t believe I’ve never heard of this place! Will 100% be back!

Some times the most memorable experiences happen by chance. Although I have been through Lake George a couple of times, it was the busy summer season and difficult to navigate and get around town for a quick pass through. One of my regular clients had a project in neighboring Queensbury. Since April is technically off-season, we were able to sit and enjoy our food in a relaxed environment. Not too busy, but with all the good food and scenery. Definitely recommend a trip to The Garrison. At the foot of Lake George.

We showed up w a party of 13. Did call ahead and were greeted very warm and friendly. Our server, Anthony could not have been better. He was friendly kind and super attentive. Was a great experience and food all came out correctly and quick. Will be happy to return again soon! Thank you!

Super fun place to be. Kid friendly and casual. It wasn’t busy when we went, party of 9 and they sat us right down.
Food took an hour to come. When it did come, we were missing had the tables food. The waiter was really nice but didn’t right anything down and it showed when the orders were mostly wrong. Our final dish took 1.5 hours to come.

We stopped here on our last day in Lake George and Anthony, the waiter who took care of us was downright hilarious! Who knew we got a comedy show at no extra charge! We ordered the bruschetta and burgers. Both A+.
