Impromptu visit to Ocean Shores today with my husband and MIL. Googled food near me and The Garage was 2 minutes from our lodging. From the moment we walked in, we immediately were incredibly comfortable. Not only was the bartender a Superman human who ran the bar and served us in the cute little dinning area; but the food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were on point and the music took me back to 1999/2000 when I was a junior in high school!! I couldn’t stop eating while singing to JaRule, DMX, Ashanti and
Lil John. Then I met the owner on my way out, see the last photo of me with the cutest little brunette is her! 10/10 WILL recommend!!!
I 100% will be coming back!
Best vibes I’ve had in yeeeeeears!!!

We chose this place because of the dog-friendly terrace—they even provide a water bowl for your pup, which is a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
We ordered the nachos, which were “above average” and very tasty. The clam chowder was also delicious. My husband had the filet mignon with fries and really enjoyed it.
I originally wanted the fish and chips, but they were out, so I went with the Alfredo Cavatappi with chicken. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. The portion of pasta was huge, but there were only a few pieces of chicken on top, and I had to dig through the pasta to reach the sauce underneath. Honestly, I can make a better Alfredo at home, so I wouldn’t order that dish again.
I also had a mojito, which was just okay—I’ve had better elsewhere.
Overall, it’s a nice spot, especially if you’re dining with a dog, and the staff makes the experience pleasant. Just maybe skip the Alfredo.
I added a comparison photo. The top picture is my pasta Cavatappi from three months ago, and the second is Nick Thompson’s from around the same time. You can see the difference—mine had a lot of pasta and very little chicken, while his had much less pasta and a lot more chicken.

The Garage is in my opinion the best place in Ocean Shores to eat, the drinks are fabulous along with the bartender/waitress Makayla (sorry if I spelled your name wrong).

This place has a friendly staff and great appetizers…not to mention fun drink specials.
I ordered the Cotton Candy Cosmo : super fun experience with the pink drink turning blue when you add the Cotton Candy. Lol!

We ordered the Crab & Cheese Dip – yummy with a kick of Cholula Sauce.

Wings were crispy and delicious.

And the Pulled Pork Sliders were sooo good!

Definitely coming back!

This spot is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked into The Garage Gastropub and Social, we were blown away. The service was truly amazing, with our server being not only incredibly friendly but also super informative about the menu. It’s clear they know their stuff.
We started with the Rockefeller-style baked oysters, and wow, were they delicious! Each one was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. Then came the clams, which were absolutely to die for – seriously some of the best I’ve ever had.
The entire menu at The Garage is a cut above, definitely surpassing many of the other local restaurants in the area. What really stood out was the atmosphere; you can tell this is where the locals gather to eat, drink, and socialize. It has a fantastic community vibe that makes you feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back for more!

If you’re in Ocean Shores, you have to visit this place! The baked oysters are absolutely incredible, and their hazy IPA is a hidden gem. The staff is super friendly too. Just remember to bring your ID, as it’s required at the entrance.

First time ever being there. Started off normal by getting drinks and ordering. We sat outside. It was not that busy. We got our drinks quick but our server forgot about our water twice. Food took a very long time to come out, about 40 minutes. Food was okay. We asked for ranch for our wings and cauliflower. Server forgot to bring it. We at half our meal and waited for the server. Took about 25 mins for her to come back. When she finally came back we just asked for the bill and a to go box because we were over it. Cool atmosphere, definitely try it at once but only once.

Went to The Garage yesterday for an early lunch and to watch the football game, and there were both pros and cons during our visit. The place was pretty small, and there weren’t many seating options and it quickly filled up during the game and felt a little crowded. There was only one bartender and one chef so our food took quite a while, but Stephanie the bartender took great care of us while we waited, and introduced us to some delicious new cocktails! She was very friendly and attentive to us! When our food finally came out we were a little dissapointed. The nachos were just a mess and not a very big portion for the price. I understand it was a busy weekend and they were swamped with a crowd that seemed to all come at once, but it was still a fun experience thanks to the staff and to the other customers enjoying the game. This place definitely has potential, we plan on giving it another chance next time we are in Ocean Shores because the rest of the menu looks great! But sadly theres no dessert menu available.
