Excellent brunch spot in downtown Greenville. Had heard good things about it and decided to give it a try. I recommend the stuffed French toast with strawberries and blueberries. The place is kind of small so it can become packed quickly which is unfortunate but hopefully they continue to do well! All of the servers were very kind to my daughter and service was excellent.

Nice family diner with some fun options on the menu like Chocolate Cherry French Toast. Yum! Definitely on my list of places to visit again.

First time there. Wife and I stopped in for breakfast. We both had coffee and the eggs in the nest ! The food was excellent. The service was excellent. This is our new go to for breakfast place! Lunch too!

We took a road trip to Greenville to check out a newer restaurant, new to us anyway, and stopped in for breakfast at the Garage Diner. Thought that the trip was worth it as the food was excellent. Very reasonably priced, large portions, great taste. Service was also excellent. Had three orders of the regular eggs, toast with meat , and a french toast covered with apple caramel topping. Everyone said that the food was very good. We will make this a breakfast stop next time in Greenville. Highly recommended.

Waitress recommended chicken and waffles. She didn’t tell me it would be frozen chicken strips with mustard on them. Looked like a lean cuisine. Service was good but one of the worst renditions of chicken and waffles I’ve ever had.
Order something else or save your $20 and go somewhere with fresh food.

From the first time I walked in I’ve felt like I was home. Peggy and her family / staff are the heart of this dinner. The food is more home still and vary consistent. They are always open to suggestions and take feed back vary well. This place is clean and prides themselves in being a home town family dinner.

Food was good. Service was good other than wait time. Wait time needs improvement, waited over 40 minutes. Food was nice and warm and not overly seasoned.

3 of us ordered breakfast. Over an hour and a half for an order of toast. I could have made it at my table with 2 slices of bread and a lighter that would have been fresher and warmer than what was served. The butter wouldn’t even melt. I drank 2 pops waiting for food. How difficult is it to make toast? So many others walked out. Will never recommend or revisit.

This place is a great little find! Nice sized menu with classic American fare at a very decent price. The staff was cheerful and friendly, and the place was clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Their sourdough toast actually tastes like genuine sourdough!

The French toast looked pretty but was under cooked and you could only taste egg when eating it. The omelet egg to ham ratio was way off ended up being more of an egg omelet then ham and cheese. The upgraded sour dough toast was also a disaster not at all how the waitress described it and not even toasted properly. The server never came back until the end of the meal. Then, she tried to make up some excuses for the food when it was time to pay the bill. All in all a bad experience and would not recommend we came in at just after 11am not end of a work day time and there wasn’t a crowd of people either so no rush for the food to be made and handed out.
